Eskimokiss's Refeed diary!
My refeed plan has arrived and I have been studying it over the weekend and plan to start it tomorrow!
I sat down tonight to write up a plan of attack and I am actually getting quite excited about it all.....can't wait to get to have some of the 'good fruit' and then eventually the 'bad fruit'! Now I know what everyone was talking about when it just seems like it is SO much food and I have only got up to planning for day 10 so far I will be checking out this section with interest. Cheers, EK

Last day today of refeed...all going well with my weigh in in the morning!!
I am going to try having a glass of alcohol tonight just to test it out (as according to my refeed plan) so it will be interesting to see if that affects the scales in the morning and whether I will need to repeat days. I am feeling rather tired today but I think that is a combination of the week I have been having plus getting over being sick. I don't think eating bread on refeed helps or the biscuits etc. But I wanted to test it out to a certain extent....definately won't be having them much on maintenance. So what will tomorrow bring? To be honest I am excited but a little nervous as well. I have been obsessively looking through cooking books, but everything seems to be so carb loaded. I will have to check out everyone's maintenance diaries to see what thing people have introduced. I was wondering about how we go about having things like sauces (eg soy and things like that) and also for using flour or milk in cooking occassionaly or are these things we should avoid like forever? It is all new and will be testing out the waters I guess!

Hi EK... firstly - awesome job in refeed!! You really did so well, and under trying circumstances too! Hope you and the family are doing better? WELL DONE though!! I seriously don't have much advice for you about maintenance, other than to allow yourself some time to find your feet. Keep experimenting - a glass of wine here, a slice of bread there, and see what works for you. Don't let yourself get too overwhelmed! The beauty of this is that we all are so different. Hope to see you in maintenance real soon! WELL DONE again - what a great job!!
