Group buying - Cudo, Spreets, Jump on It etc.
I must admit that over the past 12 months I have become a bit addicted to these group buying websites - Jump on it, Spreets, Cudo, Scoopon etc.
The more and more I use them though the more disappointed I become. The ones I mainly buy are for massages or facials but it seems like most of the companies used aren't even trying to get your business back. I'm now finding that alot of the companies I'm contacting are stating that they can no longer honour the deal and that I should contact the company for a refund (3 times in the last two weeks). Anyway just wondering if others are using these and what are their thoughts. Also out of interest if your sick of getting so many emails from different companies then I suggest you subscibe to www.allthedeals.com.au which is a daily email that includes 'all the deals' and was recommended by Choice magazine. Take care Rechelle |

Re: Group buying - Cudo, Spreets, Jump on It etc.
Well, that sounds like terrible customer service! Why would they sign up to offer the deal and then pull out?? And wouldn't the whole idea of offering the discount be to get repeat customers out of people?
The only deal I've bought was a Zumba trial at Fernwood, and I was really happy with it, only prob I had was that it was for 10 sessions to be used within 8 weeks which I thought was silly since I only intended on going weekly. I then chose to do Cohens instead of continuing with them after my trial period I still get all the emails, and despite telling them which area of Melb I'm in, most are too far away for me to bother with. |
