Can anyone please help me, what brand of curry powder do people use as I just found out the one I am using isn't allowed. I had a look today in the supermarket and they all had rice flour in them!!!

Hi Tezza,
Clive of India is allowed. Good on you for checking the ingredients, easy to forget. Suzie |

My plan doesnt preclude a particular brand of curry powder. I've been using Keens Curry. So does that mean that I've been deviating?

Hi Lynee.. Your plan will say underneath Condiments & Herbs ... 'NOT ALLOWED' Anything with added sugar, starches, MSG or preservatives.. Rice flour is a starch & rice flour is in Keens Curry Powder. So in answer to your question, yes you have.. Clive Of India is OK. This is why we NEED to read the lables on EVERYTHING & if in doubt ask your clinic. |

Woolies or Coles should have it.. It's fairly readily available from what I've noticed.

Re: Curry Powder
Mccormick brand for turmeric and curry, is it okay too? I can't seem to find the ingredients in its container.
