If it not written on YOUR program- you can not have it.

Ahhh........ pickled onions are not on the list, but neither is cohen's spagetti or thai chiken patties. If you add up what is on the list.......onions and vineger (white wine or red wine - sorry i don't have my program on me), you get pickled onions. I am pretty sure the onion allowance for a day is half a tablespoon. I had one small to med pickled onion a day throughout the program and it didn't hurt me.

Rocks ,

Unless you pickle your own onions and can vouch for all ingredients you cannot state that vinegar and onion = pickled onions ... most have sugar or salt as a stabilising agent or other preservatives to improve shelf life, add colour etc.

If you pickle your own then sure .. eat them as much as you like.

If you chose to eat foods not on the program you may think they did not do you any harm ... but how would you know .... its a tree falling in the forest scenario........... only if you could go back to the day you started and do it again could you be sure, and then only if all other elements remained the same and only one changed.

IMHO
