Need Some Advice
Hello Lovlies!
Let me preface this by saying that im sure some people are going to read this and think im a whiny brat but its the risk im going to take! Im getting frustrated fast. This morning marks my 10th week on the program and while im stoked to have lost 12 and a half kgs, i cant help but moan "why isnt it more?". Lately the scales are barely moving. They will stay the same for 10 days, drop by 300 or 500grs and stay stagnant once again. I have not deviated once, ive been so careful. I have read my program for the billionith time, and i am at a loss as to why this is happening. I always leave at least 5 hours between meals, they are weighed out to the gram and i never go to bed less than 2 hours after eating. I drink AT LEAST 3 lts of water everyday. I dont drink coffee, decaf or otherwise. I dont have cheese more than twice a week. Should i stop being a brat and be patient? Has anyone else been through this and what was the result? Thanks in advance for any comments that come my way. Kell. |

Re: Need Some Advice
Kellz,
I spent 21 weeks on the program, I lost on average 1.1kg per week. Some weeks I lost 2.6kg ... some weeks I lost nothing, one week I gained, but it all averaged out at 1.1kg a week. As much as I railed and moaned and complained I wasn't losing I still lost at 1.1kg per week on average. You can't argue with the program ... it will work as fast or slow as it works. Connie

Re: Need Some Advice
Hi Kel
You have to remember you are now getting to the old, longest standing deposits of fat, and they are usually the most stubborn in letting go! So it takes persistence and patience. It wouldn't hurt you to talk to your clinic, as the ladies in the Brisbane clinic are really lovely, and they may be able to go through the checklist of things that perhaps you may not have thought of that could be impacting your losses. You have done a great job so far, and I bet you are feeling great, besides frustrated that things have slowed down! Keep on going and you will get there!! Vee |

Re: Need Some Advice
Carrieanne, thank you so much for sharing your experience. I guess i just cant wait to be the "new me". Vee, thanks for the wise words! i have lost 500grs since posting this message, i think ive just got to calm down and let things happen! Ive also been very stressed (i have finals in two weeks at uni) which could have impacted also. Thanks again

Re: Need Some Advice
I am only new to Cohens, so tell me if I am off base, but how about jumping on the scales every four weeks? I have always been a 'jump on the scales everyday' person until I started Cohens. Now I dont even have scales at home. I am only going to get on the scales at Cohens every 4 weeks. I am loving the freedom it is bringing. I just dont stress about it. I know that I have done the right thing. I am trusting the program.
You are doing really well. Look at your ticker. I cant believe you have done that since the end of May! Well done! |
