Default How do you cook Bok Choy?

First time I've managed to find it in the supermarket! So got it - but wouldn't have a clue what to do with it LOL

How long does it keep?

I find it keeps really well in the vege crisper part of your fridge (drawers as I call them).
I eat it both raw and lighted cooked - like I do with spinach - kinda let the leaves wilt if I am cooking it. The stem bit is nice and crunch raw (I slice it thinly an add to salads) or just cook the stem bit along with mushrooms, tomato, courgette in a pan, and throw the leaves in nearer the end of cooking time.

Hope that helps!

I love Bok Choy and yea, it keeps very well.

I just spray some olive oil in a pan, saute for a little bit, sprinkle with garlic powder (or real garlic...but I'm lazy so I use garlic powder), salt, pepper, then put a little bit of water to "steam" it a little bit.

Yummo.

Pre-Cohens, I would sprinkle some sesame seed oil over it.

OMG - just read my post - it is like English is my second language - I eat it both raw and lightly cooked; The stem bit is nice and crunchy raw.

Sorry about the bad typing/language. Brain must have been off.
