We'll I haven't written in a few days...I'm on Day 11 now and still feeling great. I have had no deviations and even though I badly sprained my ankle and haven't been able to stand long enough to cook much, my partner has been cooking for me to keep me on track. Looking forward to Saturday with the hope of further losses in kgs and cms!

Oh just one last note...had the most yummy dinner tonight! Chicken (allowance) cooked plain in the frypan with red cabbage (allowance) chopped roughly and a dressing to bring it all together - mayo (allowance)'powdered ginger, crushed garlic, dried coriander, apple cider vinegar. Delicious (and just wanted to note it down somewhere)!!

Oh yum, your chicken dish sounds great. I'm loving the way Cohen's gets us to use spices for interest. Will try next chicken meal. Thx!

Check-in for Week 2...24/01/15
Weight: 103.6kg (4.5kg loss)
Bust: 111cm
Waist: 87cm
Paunch (Lower Abdomen): 111cm
Hips: 123.5cm
Thighs: 65cm
Arms: 34cm
**6kg weight loss and 22cm loss over entire body since 10/01/15**

Unbelievable results in only two weeks when for years I've struggled for even a 100g! The last time I recall being around 104kg was about the time I met my boyfriend which was in 2010!!

Thanks everyone!!

Just also wanted to share some other developments today...we hosted my father-in-laws birthday at our house today, nothing big, just nibbles and cake. It was a true test of wills given there was wine, some yummy cheeses, crackers, chips, cake and lollies (for our nieces) but I felt so ready for this and my beautiful boyfriend totally had my back. And...I nailed it. No issues, no attention drawn, no questions asked!!

From today I want to remember (and share) some tips to stay deviation-free...
1. Push your breakfast back so you end up eating when others are eating (keeping to the 5 hour rule).
2. Drink lots of water and allowed soft drink soft - no one notices you're not snacking when you have a drink in your hand.

I hope to develop other tips over time so this program becomes a life long lifestyle. Does anyone else have any tips or tricks to share?

Argh!! I've deviated albeit accidentally but a deviation is a deviation!

There was some catering at work today and a fruit platter ended up in the staff kitchen. I helped myself to a small potion of honeydew melon and rockmelon thinking they were both ok to eat as one of my two daily serves of fruit. I didn't realise that rockmelon is not allowed yet!!

Do I just get one with it, take the meal by meal approach for getting back on plan or am I meant to offset it somehow with no crispbreads for the day or something?! The only saving grace was it was the correct portion at least (sneakily borrowed the mail scale to measure out the slices).

Just pretend it never happened. With vigilance like that (weighing it on the mail scale) you should be rewarded with a no-effect-on-the-scales or even a-decent-loss-as-if-nothing-happened-on-the-scales. Besides cutting out any snacks won't make a difference

Hi Jemha

Glad its not just me! lol I deviated yesterday without realizing also, had my fruit at the same time. But at least the scale didnt glare at me this morning. If it bugs you alot and your appetite allows it skip on some of the crispbread but i'm sure you'll be ok

I was thinking about you last night, #ready. Good luck for day one!!

I did weigh myself this morning after my slip up yesterday - I don't like to weigh outside my nominated day but I was interested to see any fluctuations. Fortunately, the scale hasn't moved up, nor has it moved down since my Saturday check-in.

My boyfriend had a laugh at the mail scale and then made a very valid point: Cohen's is a lifestyle program and I need to see it that way, as a total and absolute change for life. He respects that the aim is 100% compliance but that life is just not that stable or predictable and in the years to come the melon I ate yesterday won't matter.

What I've done this morning at work is photocopy some of the pages of my plan, reducing the page size so I have a discreet little reference booklet to keep in my desk to reduce future mistakes - this would be another tip for anyone who works in an organization who loves a good morning tea!
