Well done on your continuing losses, of course they'll continue - although maybe not like clockwork every day. And the dress sounds like a great thing to aim for. Will it still look good when you reach goal weight do you think? Hope you're having a great weekend

Thanks for popping in and saying hi... I have not changed my weight but I am up 200g this morning. But it is ok as it is that lovely time of the month. Or as hubby say "Dragon Time". I have not deviated and not even wanted to...but have found that I am not as moody as I have been in past months at this time.

I have been really putting some thought into this and have realised that pre kids I was a little moody but ok, then kids came along and well lets just say there is a reason for that "Dragon Time". I wouldn't even notice until later just how unreasonable I could be about things. (Gee I hope that hubby never reads this!) But I am not finding this to be the case this month.. so fingers crossed that this lovely change is due to the diet and will stay.

Everything else is sailing along well and I am still enjoying this journey. I found myself in a clothes shop yesterday looking for a new top and walked out again empty handed knowing that I will be buying some lovely new clothes soon and just to be patient.

So have fun everyone and I will try and catch up with a few more diaries this week

Dragon Time *laughs* I may have to steal that phrase from you Lindy

Congratulations on staying deviation-free I know my hormones are the devil when it comes to cravings so that's a huge accomplishment! I'm sure the scales will thank you next week!

I live with my best friend, (a 30yr male) and he always knows before i do that TOM is on his way, he can tell by waht i weigh, and how my moods are, he will tell me Stephy your period is coming this week...and im like oh yeah no wonder im a psycho..... BUT those have subsided since being on cohens aswell as the cramps!!! I still get them but they arent completely unbearable liek they were previously!!!

Hope you get a wonderful loss when TOM leaves for the week!!!

Default Week 3

Well Hooray for today......or maybe not it looks as though it is going to be a cold rainy day. Anyway What a great start to the week a drop of 300g last night finally get the weight moving again after TOM. Yay for me... I was even starting to think that this weighing every morning is not a good thing given the weight increase at this time, but thankfully that all changed this morning.

Thanks again people for dropping in and saying hi. This forum really is good for support and encouragement. I do think it would be alot harder to complete this program without seeing just how others are coping with it and also the great results others have already managed.

I have been having trouble getting to sleep these last few days so I have started another change this morning Decaf coffee and tea We will see if this helps...if not come Sunday the Decaf maybe departing the building.

Hope everyone has a great day and bring on Week 4

Hey Lindy!

Girl, you are doing so great!!
Congrats on the great losses so far and for staying 100% on the program.

I tell ya, soon enough that dress will fit, you have to just keep trying it on every week! I so desparately wanted to fit into the size 16 clothes I was given, especially jeans, and the first time I tried them, I couldn't even get them past my thighs... that was wishful thinking... but today I'm wearing them, and they are even starting to get a bit loose already!! At the time it felt like I was never going to fit into those jeans!! Now I can't wait for them to be falling off me!

That sleep thing is a pain, and I know I've struggled and still do struggle with it. I find a soothing meditation cd sends me off real quick or one of those hypnotism audios. Something positive anyway. Maybe look at changing your routine in the evening and doing some more relaxing activities to prepare you for sleep. I hope you figure out what works best for you soon!

Take care and keep up the great losses, that way you should definitely be finished before Christmas!!

Vee

Keep up the great losses!

Vee

Yay....down 500g this morning. Happy hormones are in full swing still and enjoying this totally.

Had a funny moment this morning...was in the bathroom on the scales checking my weight and my little son followed me in and asked if he too could see if he is getting bigger.(We measure his height and weight there) and I realised that I have to loose my sons weight give or take a bit.

The funny thing is that I have a bad back and recently fainted face first to the floor after I put my back out and ever since hubby has said, don't lift your son up all of the time you'll put your back out again.

All I can think of is that I am lifting him everyday when I stand up and walk around.

Hope everyone has a great day and I will check in a few more diaries today...Bye for now.

Well done Lindy. Another 500g. Good work. Do you weigh yourself every day? I am a bit addicted to the scales and my daily mood depends on what they say.

YES Lindy, i know exactly what you mean about having to loose your childs weight.. that reality hit me in the face a few days ago my 3 yo weighs 18 kg, and my 7 month old weighs nearly 10, i have to loose more than the 2 of them put together..... OMG !!!! and when i pick either of them up they are really heavy !!!!! what have we been doing to our bodies all this time ???? its no wonder we are tired and grumpy ( well me anyway !! ) Imagine carrying our kids around 24/7 ????

well done on your loss, keep up the fantastic work chick

Way to go Lindy! Are you sleeping better after switching to decaf? I was just wondering if the good drop came after a good nights sleep. Odd to think that many of us have been running around with the weight of half or sometimes a whole other person!
Keep up the great work, chicky!

Thanks for popping in.....I am having a very slow start to the day today. I am not very happy...a bit moody and very tired.

Hubby went out last night which was ok but I have to converse with the inlaws which is always quite painful for me. Can't go into it but lets just say I am very angry and happy at the same time and I didn't sleep well because of it as well. Switching to decaf as well is not helping and I believe will come to an end right now.

I decided to have a little nanna nap this afternoon thinking that this would make me feel better and no still the same and now I have a headache as well.

Wasn't even going to log on but started thinking....It's friday...Hubby will be home shortly with a couple of friends...maybe a glass of wine and a slice of cheese.

I will stay strong as I have been good for the f/night and have myself a mango now( I think? ), so i suppose that this day or what is left of it can only get better.

Well I am off to find some chewing gum and to take something for this headache.

Hope everyone else has a great weekend and see alot less of you all in the new week.

I hope you've been feeling better today, Lindy.

I've been drinking decaf since being on the diet. However, I'm buying decaf beans and grinding them, then making plunger coffee. I don't like the instant decaf much.

Back again to do it all over again, starting from exactly the same weight as last time.
My health is not good and my doctor is predicting all sorts of nasty things if I don't lose weight.
What else do I do? I help people make money and I help people save money. Please take a look at http://www.acnlinks.clancie.com.au/
Back again for the support. Still think the diet and the forum are the best ever, but too old to do it again. Now losing again slowly on maintenance diet. Ticker shows next intermediate goal only (5 kilos).

Good morning one and all...

Another great start to the week....down 400g overnight, appears to be all over the place at the minute. First couple of weeks was always 100g, 200g each and every night and now nothing one night and and then 400g or 500g. Weird but ok with me.

1 kilo away from the weight I was when I married hubby 13years ago

Tempted to try the "dress" on this morning...

Hope everyone has a great start to the week, will try and stop in on a couple of diaries later today.... Bye for now

Ok....Karen - I tried the dress on and I can't belive it. I still can not get it sipped up at the chest which make no sense to me as I changed cup size on the weekend for a better fit so I do know that the girls are shrinking along with the rest of me (Except my hips and thighs - I don't know if even Cohens can fix them!).

So....back on the hanger for the dress and we will try again in another couple of weeks.

Off to pop into some diaries now before I start the long list of things that I must do today. Bye

Soon... very soon! You'll be able to fit in to the dress, and I want pictures!! I shouldn't yell about pictures... I still haven't posted any... Hm... as soon as my consultant sends them, I will... and then I will have them to motivate me to reach the goal of the dress that has been in my cupboard for years...
Hope you have a great week, pretty lady!

Default Week 4

Good Morning everyone......I hope everyone is happy and well

Well I have had a weird couple of days... I dropped 300g one day and then went up 400g and then dropped 500g this morning I have not deviated and can't think of why - very weird.

Anyway here I am at the end of Week 4 and off for my blood test this morning a little lighter than when I started so happy very happy.

My clothes are fitting a little better and the selection in the wardrobe is reducing....I might be treating myself to some new ones very soon.

Well I must run I have a busy day ahead of me, so I will try and catch up with some diaries later today. Have a great week everyone

Hey pretty lady! Your weight will fluctuate from day to day. Can be anything from lack of BM to where you are in your monthly cycle. Don't worry too much about it. It's one of the reasons clinics tell us to only take our weight loss as a monthly average rather than a daily or even weekly basis like most of us on the forum do.
And thanks for your support in my diary. It's much appreciated!

Hey Lindy How cool to think you're only a few breathes away from your wedding dress! I don't know how long ago it was for you, but I have clothes from a few years ago that even though I got lighter than I was back then a while back still didn't fit me properly. I think maybe over time our shapes change a lil bit too in different places... but I am sure you will get back into your dress VERY soon and wow what an accomplishment!

You seem to be doing great and as Mette said, I'm sure weight fluctuates a lot every day. I've made a deal with myself that I'll only let myself break the rules and weigh every day if I am SURE to not get discouraged or set back if there are unexpected gains or the losses stop for a while. Your scales are definitely moving in the right direction which is exciting

Good luck with your blood test!
