How often do you go to the clinic?

I've arranged to see my consultant every week.

They said as often as you feel comfortable with..... I thought they might freak out if I said every day *LOL*

Just wondered how often everyone else goes? and if it's changed since you started the programme?

I went once to find out what it was all about. Once to pick up my program. Once yesterday to pickup the refeed. I think yesterday was my last visit.

Without this forum, I'm not sure I would have completed the programme.

Hi Debs,
i go once a month to my clinic.My consultant said though that i can email/ring anytime if i have questions.

As we don't have a clinic in our town(they travel up here) if i wanted to see them more i would have to travel down to them.

I am lucky my clinic is extremely helpful and friendly.

Baloo,how come you didn't go more often?Were they not nice?

Singapore clinic does things a bit differently I guess. They never really offered other than to say they are here if needed. There wasn't even an initial weigh-in when I started.

In the end, I got all the support I needed from here.

I have never been to my clinic as the closest one is 1600 kilometres away. They ring me once a week to see how I am going.

i am lucky i do not have to go this is my second time around so i am just doing it at home but when i did it the first time i remember going every month. But it is good to go more if you need to and then they can encourage you also. The first time i did this i remember getting sick and it did not work very well. But this time apart from a sore throat i am doing really well i weighed myself after four weeks and was going to do it every week from now but i think i will wait another 4 weeks am scared that there will be no change.

Any way you can go more often and if it is too much you can decide and then cut it bak.

i never went, other than to get the initial info, collect my program, then collect my refeed. They would ring me once a week to check in on me, and I'd let them know my weight over the phone once a month.
