OOOH! Welcome Dreamer!!!

I'm so pleased to see you registered!

We've been having 'teething problems' with other people registering. I know Brieziel has had problems getting registered

I'm looking forward to getting everything sorted!

If there's anyone else who can't get registered, please email me at:

WOW quite a few new members in the last day or two, WELCOME everyone, come in and introduce yourselves!

Kristine, a special welcome to you! For those who don't know, Kristine is the reason I'm on the Cohen Programme. We're both on another forum (along with a few others that hang around here, like lessfatty and heavenlylamb) and after reading her thread on that forum about her success on the programme, I was inspired to start.

Default yay

Well apart from a slight hiccup with registration it looks like it's working now. Thanks LF for sorting my pw issue out!

Asy - despite all the crap you have gone through, your dedication is so admirable.

LF - when is your wedding? Also, is there a reason you have a GW below the Cohen GW? Sorry if you have answered this before... I was just curious.

Wedding, what wedding? I am not even divorced ... yet !
Just joking I was married a little after my 25th birthday, I am now 39! So that was 14 years and 2 children and 1 country ago

I married when I was 91 KG, I am 91.9 KG right now so that GW will be reached soon.

Well if you look at my body right now you will see that I am not slim nor trim. So even at 90KG (Cohen goal) I will still be a little bit chubby, of course being chubby is 100 times better than obese. However the australian recommended weight range for 187cm guy is 76~88KG, so I will aim to hold for 80KG or 15% body fat. I also know that the more fat you have on your body the more hormones that are produced that make you body want to get fatter. So if I finish with 15% body fat then I believe I will have the best chance possible of maintaining the weight over the long term. I am really scared that I will get fat again!

Default Hey guys,

Just thought I'd get a feel of the board.

Registered my husband and I...but they aren't starting again until January. We are both overweight, but he has other medical problems. When I read the list of symptoms on the Cohen Website, they fit him to a T. His Dr. suggested a gastric bypass, to lose the weight quickly, to help with his other medical problems. I'm hoping this is the answer instead.

Welcome Mrs C. Goodluck to you and your hubby. I think you'll be great support for each other. My other half is doing it with me too - so you can share your frustrations, boredom and good times together!

Try not to do too much damage over the silly season!

I'd say a change in lifestyle is a much better option than a change to the internal organs - that's for sure!

See you in the New Year!

Goal: Day 1 Monday (started 2nd time around 6 Nov 06)
Goal: No deviations for 1 week (done)
Goal: Weigh myself December 6! (done!) 8kg lost!
Goal: Drop 10kg stat (done Dec 12)
Goal: Be under 100kg by Christmas! (Lets make that a realistic 105kg)
Goal: No deviations until Xmas Day!
