Default Tuna Salad

My other half did this for me the other night.... darn it was good!

Fresh Tuna Steak (allowance) Rolled in cracked black pepper and allowed to sit in fridge for a few hours

Salad consisting of baby spinach leaves, Green pepper and onion(sliced)

Cook Tuna on BBQ till med rare, allow to cool slightly in it's own juice, then slice (about 3-5mm thick), lay over salad and drizzle with Balsmic vinegar.....

OMG melt in the mouth!!!

I agree this is one of my favorites ( I like it with Balsamic, Chili flakes, Garlic, sweetener sauce )

Fresh Australian tuna is an absolutely excellent meat, tip is to look how shinny it is, the more shinny the flesh is the more essential fatty acids are in the meat (= a well feed health tuna). The only problem is unlike steak it is difficult to keep in the fridge for long.

My other half is a seafood buff, he has worked for a few seafood companies, from supply to distrubition, needless to say he will only eat "The Best". (i can't buy seafood from the supermarket - he will never eat it!)
