So, how does it work?

Does the one who lost the most win, or is it a popularity thing?

What was the biggest loss on the show, and over how long?

Just wondering,

asy

Contestants get voted out over the period of the show til it gets down to the final 3. Then the winner is decided out of those 3 depending on fat loss % of their individual weights

I honestly have no idea what time frame they are looking at. The show goes for 3 months I believe. But then is some lapse from the contestants leaving the house to the finale.... ????

I think the biggest loss was around 70 kg????

If you think what type of body type specifically would be expected to lose the most weight ?
  • Old or young
  • Man or woman
  • Short or Tall
  • Natural athletic body or not
  • New fat or old fat

Chris was 21 year old, 197cm tall (6'8") and play basketball at near professional level (before some kind of problem). Motivation and effort being equal a tall, young man who recently put on a lot of weight will almost certainly be the fastest to lose, his body will just metabolise faster! Yet 70KG in 3 months is one hell of a job even with everything in your favor!

Yes, it is a lot of weight to lose. Damien actually lost 74.6 kgs with a starting weight of 216kgs. And with this loss he still wasn't the winner as its percentage of body fat loss. Good to see all contestants being inspired to get on the weight loss track and all changing their lives for the better.

The show actually went for 10 weeks and then they were on their own for another 6 weeks before coming back for the final. "On their own" one contestant had two personal trainers and was training like 4 to 5 hours a day. I would think in ordinary living, this would be very hard to sustain unless you actually did personal training as your main job. The $200,000 prizemoney pushes people past their limits. I would like to see a show where the contestants are revisited to see if they can maintain their losses.

By the way Lessfatty did you get the show in Japan or are you just well informed, as usual.
