Hi Katrin and thanks for visiting my diary and letting me know how BUSY you are! I look forward to chit chatting more with you again in January. Are we still on for sculpting off the last kilo or so (more like 3kg for me!) in January on original plan (which of course includes deviations for you anyway as you said )!

Did you love yr pavlova or is it now "over-rated"? Oops, i cant believe i "forgot" i had some cheesecake with fresh berries on, i have just updated my diary and didnt mention that! Food amnesia or what?

I still had my wine on xmas day but i am giving serious thought to joining yr new club for anti-alcoholics as it is clear to me that the only "thing" that slowed down my weight loss was my occasional glass of wine or two! So maybe its time for me to be yet again inspired by you my dear and make "ditch the wine for ever" my new year resolution for 2008!

anyway, trust you are enjoying this festive coupla days, Pandora

Hi Pandora

no, the Pav was truly gorgeous. Mind you, had nearly HALF of one and they have a diameter of 25 to 30 cms. But hell, it's just egg white, nice fresh whipping cream without sugar, and fruit, kind of. In addition to that I had loads of other food so I felt stuffed! Weight up to 58.6 yesterday.

Had just yogurt for breakfast (at 10), then went for a good run (by then temperature had nearly hit 32), then to friend to have Xmas lunch (1pm) but only loaded plate once with turkey, ham, some carbs, salad, and for desert little bit of Xmas pudding with strawberries and little bit of ice cream. Dinner (wasn't hungry at all, but maintenance rule is to have your three meals even if ate too much cos of protein) was just some veg with little bit of cheese on top, grilled. Loads of water, again no alcohol.

Today, weight back down to 57.9, so that's good, and I'll go for another run, then do my usual Cohens type day like on refeed I guess, or sort of a combo, serves as program for breakfast and lunch, then maybe bigger at dinner. Dunno yet. I still want to get down to 56, and I'd like to use the next few days to monitor if I can lose weight on re-feed portions without the carbs and exercise.

Yeah, drop the alcohol, I stuck to my Pellegrino and had 2 lemon lime bitters (so bit of alcohol in the bitters (44.7%, but only had 4 drops)).

Gotta go to Uni today, which sucks!

Katrin

Hi Katrin

Sounds like yr body is truly handling extra food well! Almost half that pavlova, man i am so jealous! Pavlova is also my favorite dessert and i never even thought of having one yesterday. To keep dessert simple i bought a New York Cheesecake (frozen sara lee) and pack frozen mixed berries, got a large round white platter, dumped all the berries on top of ch/cake and arranged some of the berries around the edge - looked gourmet! But of course had i been thinking straight, i cld have done the same with a pavlova and had the lovely cream yum!

And thanks for visiting my diary but i did have a laugh , take a look, when you were suggesting i have herbs in water to drink you also suggest i add MINCE to the water yuck!) - i presume you mean MINT!! He he - have a great boxing day even if you do have to go to work! Will keep you out of mischief! Pandora

yuck, mince, how disgusting, yeah, off course I meant mint. It's a so-called false friend, when you translate something from your language into another so it sound similar, but means something else, like in German it's minze = mint. Or say in German 'fabrik' means 'factory', but some think it's fabric....

Glad I made you laugh, though.

Good on you for behaving over Xmas!

Katrin
