Oh your poor legs I wonder what's going on there..

The food sounds fantastic! Very healthy.. your weight might be OK.. hubby & I had a weekend away where we ate a lot but walked a lot too.. my weight was quite stabble.. I put that down to all the walking..

HUGS I hope you're having the BEST time XXX

I just wanted to stop by and say congrats on all you have achieved, it really is amazing. I also wanted to say thank you for your help a few months back when I was considering D'ing when I went away for a weekend...the help you gave me then helped me like you wouldn't believe. I think if I do go off the program then I wouldn't be where I am now and still struggling with d'ing. Anyway - enough of that lol. Your trip sounds so fantastic and the food also sounds wonderful. Can't wait to see some pics!

Thanks so much for the birthday wishes Jo, Honeybuns, Hexi, Irene, Faithy and Jeannie, and to AJ (for the PM).

Well here I am in Greece, and so far it's a Cohen's nightmare. I have just had souvlaki for dinner... it came on a bed of rice, with a side serve of fries and a basket of bread. Last night my Greek salad also came with bread. I'm trying hard not to think how many maintenance rules I broke when I followed it all up with two pieces of baklava (one would have been plenty), chocolate and pistachios (both of which are irresistably cheap at the supermarket). The supermarket yoghurt I had for breakfast, however, was to die for. Only 2% fat and less than 60 calories per 100g, it was the best yoghurt I've ever had.

Somewhere around day four or five in Istanbul I kind of gave up on the notion of trying to eat program foods... it was just too hard. I've had so much great food, but very little of it has been Cohen's friendly... baklava, Turkish delight, gozleme (filo pastry with various fillings), pide (the Turkish version of pizza), boregi (pastries), borek (a huge cheese and pastry pie served in wedges)... It's also been hard to remember that just because I'm on holidays I can't really have chocolate and/or icecream every day and still expect to maintain or lose weight. As a result, I'm sure I've gained quite a bit. Thankfully, my jeans and shorts still fit, though I did pack size 12s, not the 10s I was wearing before I left. Istanbul is dotted with electronic scales, but I was too scared to get on any of them. Perhaps I should have... the reality check would have been good for me, I'm sure.

Anyway, I hope all is going well for everyone in Cohen's land. For anyone interested in keeping up with my travels, I have a blog (which is proving more difficult than I thought to keep up to date), and a photostream on Flickr. Here are the addresses:
http://planetkate.wordpress.com/
http://www.flickr.com/photos/katen/

And, while I'm at it, I might as well come clean. My real name isn't Sassy... it's Kate... yes, another one!!!

Great photos, Sassy. Have a terrific holiday, enjoy the food, do the best you can with the choices available while still trying the variety and I hope that the scales aren't too unkind when you return.

Back again to do it all over again, starting from exactly the same weight as last time.
My health is not good and my doctor is predicting all sorts of nasty things if I don't lose weight.
What else do I do? I help people make money and I help people save money. Please take a look at http://www.acnlinks.clancie.com.au/
Back again for the support. Still think the diet and the forum are the best ever, but too old to do it again. Now losing again slowly on maintenance diet. Ticker shows next intermediate goal only (5 kilos).
