Be kind to yourself, love. You recognised the problem and you got back on the horse. You should stand proud!

Hi Ellabelle
Hugs! You sound so sad. You have everything to be so positive about - a new slim body, happiness, a great husband etc etc. I hope you sort out your demons and stop being so hard on yourself. You have done so well to get to where you are, it would be ashame to blow it all with a few unhappy thoughts. Take care of yourself and cheer up - you have everything to be happy about! L xxxx |

Hi Ellabelle,
I'm not so sure a psych is required..... Let me explain:- Your ticker never did show the BMI reading - if it HAD, I'm sure someone would have jumped in to question it. Since you provided your height (1.63m), I now know your Goal was to be at a BMI of 20.2 (which, in my observation, seems to be lower than any others I've seen on here). And, when you got down to 51.7, your BMI would have been 19.44 - getting pretty close to the "UNDERweight range". So, where am I heading? Ella, I suggest you check your original data given to the clinic. It seems to me that something might be wrong (height, shoe size, whatever....) that has led to your goal MAYBE being set too low. If that is right, it is no wonder you feel so hungry and "bust out" a bit. Why not give your clinic a call, check the data that was presented when you started, and make sure IT IS CORRECT !!! If Doc Cohen wanted you to settle on a BMI of 20, you'd be a first !!! Most times, around 22 - 23 (with the occasional "higher or lower" reading). Let us know how you go (and don't go TOO LOW ) Koh

Just a big happy hushpuppy I haven't "done" Cohens - Asy knows me from way back - she invited me to "take a look" here - I did, loved it, and stayed... And me? I'm a tall skinny-ish bloke (BMI ~25.5) and have been this way forever, so I haven't faced (weight-wise) what you all have !! |

Hi Ellabelle,
Koh - you are such a gem. Very wise words you have written - again. Ellabelle - sounds like a visit or call to the clinic to check this out would be very worthwhile. Ellabelle - my heart goes out to you as I read about your struggles. I am hoping you can move to a place of grace and ease with your body very soon. Blessings Shanara
