Thank you Louise, Daffodil, Flash and Mette for dropping by - it is great to get encouragement at this stage - its why i started writing again in my diary - I need to stay focussed, or could derail very easily....

Last few days have been fine, I have not been too outrageous with my cooking, just trying to get through the next few weeks with minimum of fuss. Going to my parents for a bbq tonight, so i will take my steak and scales and all should be fine.

This weekend should be no problem food wise, we are going out on Saturday, but to a burger place that they are quite happy to give me a 120g burger with some salad and no bun, then lunch on sunday, but again easy to eat cohen's friendly.

Another day down, which is good psychologically. I am going to try the second vitamin tablet at lunch and i have always mixed my meals around anyway, but will continue with that. Does any one know if it is better for weight loss to have the fruit and crispbread, or not? I have to make myself eat both these as I am never hungry enough to look for them, so was wondering if it was worth leaving them out, as I know we dont need to have them after the first 10 days on the programme.

Anyway, happy weight loss everyone

Aslan x

Hi Aslan,

Hang in there - you can do this!

Sounds like you are handling the eating out very well - great strategies! I can only imagine, at this point, what it must be like to be in the last few weeks. Just know we are all supproting you.

My consultant says that the weight loss is not quickend by not eating the crackers and fruit. In fact she says that the body can even go into fat storing mode if we don't eat the fruit and crackers. I have usually eaten mine for one simple fact. I am using hungry and want to! You are blessed not to feel you need to.

Keep smiling - your on the home run. Don't leave it too late to order refeed.
Blessings
Shanara

On home stretch, Aslan!
It doesn't quicken the weight loss to leave out the crisp breads and fruit. As Shanara says, it may send your body into fat storage mode if you don't have them. But if you don't feel hungry, it's not a problem to leave them out. As long as you don't go looking for other things to eat!

Found it!!! I yet again went awol - I am not a diary person and never seem to have anything to say - I like to just lurk and check out what other people are up to - I think the police call it stalking

I thought I would come back here though as I have ordered and received my refeed!!! Yay!!!!I am 65.3 kg and feeling great - my Cohen's target was 61 - 64, but I will be happy to maintain below 65. I think 61 would be way to low for me and I would end up with colds etc.

So, I am starting my refeed on Monday 6th April. It is 18 days and looks quite balanced. I seem to have a lot of bread, which I dont know how I will go with, but I will try a few pieces and see if there is any effect.

So, one week to go, then moving to the next phase.

Its been a great journey and I have had the pleasure of SPENDING a lot of money this weekend getting my work wardrobe up to scratch.

Hope everyone is well

x

Yay! Congrats on getting your refeed!

Don't worry about not being active on the forum. I haven't been around much lately either. Life happens, sometimes. As long as you're doing well, that's all that matters! And you definitely are!
