I do support Australia becoming a republic...we can get new currency I think it would be fun to have national competitions to design our new money. We also wouldn't have to hear about balding royals anymore pmsl! Poor Prince William.
Whilst we wouldn't have a governor-general anymore, some of the powers of the gove would need to be instilled somewhere in case the president was crappola! I like entertaining the idea of WA becoming an independant republic but that is a whole other thread... |
