Default Annie-Lou

Have not been on the forum for a while but thought it was time to update my stats. Im into my 12th week and have lost 22.5kgs. Feeling fantastic, but things have slowed right down and I'm starting to get a little disheartened with the programme. I think its because I still have such a long way to go. Not giving up, just annoyed. Does anyone have any tips???/

Lower your expectations
you are losing nearly 2 kg a week by far the best results you would get from any program and certainly more sustainable and long lasting
read the whole useful books link and then read the books

Stick in there you are doing great, yes things might slow down but that is because you have less weight to loose. Just think how you will be feeling when you get to your goal weight and don't forget to reward yourself along the way.

Hi Annie-Lou,

Sweetie, try looking more at "how far you have come" rather than at "how much longer you have to go". As others have said, you are steaming along... at nearly 2Kg a week (not many at all get it that good).

But hey, you also said this :-

Umm, care to add more? Is it that you FEEL it has slowed? Or is it actually slowing? Do you have "week-by-week" weights to share? Have you added something to your meals that you didn't have before?

Share what you can, and we will do likewise....

And me? I'm a tall skinny-ish bloke (BMI ~25.5) and have been this way forever, so I haven't faced (weight-wise) what you all have !!
