What kind of tattoo would you prefer to get?

I started out with some Jasmine flowers on the outside of my ankle, then added a Violet and a butterfly over my shin, then a black rose on the inside of my calf, then added 5 cherry blossoms on the back of my calf and another butterfly on the back of my calf underneath my knee, so pretty much flowers wrapping around my whole calf... my husband had two sleeves, his whole right ankle and chest done.. we are a bit tattoo mad hehe (bet you cant guess what my daughters names are)

i hope i dont end up with a saggy tat by the end of Cohens :S

I've always thought I was waiting to lose weight and keep it off before getting a tatt but maybe I'm just a coward and its a convenient excuse (other excuse is never quite finding the right dragon that I want - handy huh!!)

I so want a tattoo but have never dared. Also, in Singapore there is a stigma attached to having a tattoo, and it can be pretty hard to overcome. If I could get one, I would get a rose on my hip.

I really want a tattoo too but I'm scared of the pain and also want to do it after I reach goal weight so I didn't have to worry where to have it done.

I want my mum and dad's initials in old english font on my shoulder and my kids and my hubby's initials entwined in chinese style writing. I have been to the tattooist who is a good friend of one of my work colleagues but as soon as she took me there, the noise of the needle drove me crazy!!!!

Im in two minds about the tattooes, not to mention that I would love my nose pierced too. I'm not going to worry about it till I get closer to goal LOL

I have got a new one just a few weeks ago and it does not hurt to much - of course that would depend where you get the tat and who does it.
All good and now just working on my next one - No 3
Just have to make sure that what ever you get is what you want for life as once its on its there for good !!!!!

I have a small tribal eagle on the inside of my shoulder supposed to mean unlimited happiness. It hurt so much I nearly puked and will never get another one!!!

I have a butterfly on the inside of my left wrist which I had done on my daughters 1st brithday (she is my little butterfly angel) and then I had a little daisy with a squiggle on my right foot done a week before we left South Africa to move to Aus as a 'reminder'. Would LOVE to have more done, just needs someone to translate sanscript.

I have a butterfly on my inner left Anckle, and a unicorn on my outer left calf, and a rose on my back, my husband and I have had our Whaka papa (family History) tats drawn and we are waiting to go back to NZ before we have those done

It is interesting to see here how much the public perception of Tattoos has changed.

With only 35 % of this forum not liking them!

25 years ago it would have been closer to 80% I would think, which would mean a reversal of this polls showings.

I have two - a tramp stamp (which I like, but don't like - I just think it needs updating) and my first, a small rose on my hip.

My present to myself when I reach my goal weight is a back piece - a phoenix rising from the ashes of my previous life, previous body and from my dated tramp stamp!
