Default Halfway thru refeed and CRAVING!! :o

On day 14 of refeed, and proud to be deviation free. but since day 11, I've been craving like crazy! On 1 occasion, I had a cashew nut in my hand, ready for cheating, until my better self took over. I threw the whole bag away.

Is craving during refeed normal? I'm full, close to bursting during meals, but feel the urge to snack after 2-3 hours

Hi candid,

One thought is that "one of the Refeed food additions" might be stressing your body. Have you talked to your Clinic? Perhaps check your Refeed Diary to see if your body had a "spike" after introducing a particular food.... which day, and what food was introduced. Try leaving it out of your meal plan for a few days.

See, a few people have found that "mixing protein" can set off such cravings - could you be one of them? Do check with your Clinic before changing anything though, as I am not qualified to advise you.

Or, could it be a "mind" thing? Like, if it is only an urge, and not a bodily "hunger" sign, then it might be worth seeing someone who can help with the re-training of your thought processes.

If the latter, and you have the Judith Beck book, have a re-read - I have heard many good words about it.

I haven't "done" Cohens - Asy knows me from way back - she invited me to "take a look" here - I did, loved it, and stayed...
And me? I'm a tall skinny-ish bloke (BMI ~25.5) and have been this way forever, so I haven't faced (weight-wise) what you all have !!

i'm suspecting the culprit is pineapple.

have stopped taking that since yesterday, so we'll see how that goes
