20 Kilos to Go (November, 2013)
The 20 Kilos to Go Club thread started by Mum Chum waaaaay back in June, 2010 is a bit old, and the most recent posts were May, 2013, so perhaps it is time to start another 20 Kilos to Go thread and see where it takes us! The only Rule is that you have at least 20 Kilos to Go, even if you are just starting or are already well underway I have 21 Kilos to shift and will officially start on Monday 4th November but am practising a bit from today onwards. So deep breath, flex and stretch, and away we go There is no set date to this, it is not a Challenge or a Sprint, it is so that those of us with a few months ahead of us can have some running buddies So c'mon, step up and join the Club! It will be fun and at the end of it, I will be slim and trim and dancing on the beach!! Cheers Kristine |

Re: 20 Kilos to Go (November, 2013)
Hi Sammy
OK, so where is everyone with 20 kilos to go? At the 20 kilo mark, whether we start or are part way through, the 20 kilos is a major amount of weight to lose and requires a dedication to the task Right now, I am distracted by the Helpful Husband who thinks he is some sort of Righteous Person as he has decided to lose 'some' weight before going off for a hernia repair So, he is suddenly the world expert on weight loss. He does all the cooking, and while previously I cooked my own Cohen meals this seems to be socially isolating now that there is only the two of us. I am having to adopt a lead by example approach to protect my territory and his tender feelings. It was all much easier when the household was busy and he had a lot people to cook for So this 20 kilos feels like 20 social kilos as well as 20 fat kilos Anyway, I have made a start, down from the peak of 87.60 29/08/2013, so that's nearly 4 kilos gone and I am starting to feel the difference, but at that rate it will be hard to stay motived. I want this program to do what I know this program can do, and that is help me get rid of this unwanted baggage efficiently and effectively. Without any interference by Helpful Harry! What is that great saying? Nothing tastes as good as being slim feels. And ain't that the truth! Cheers Kristine |

Re: 20 Kilos to Go (November, 2013)
G'day
I am starting to make inroads into the 20 kilos of baggage Melbourne is starting to warm up for the summer season and it does make it easier to drink the water and to see the body! Wearing bulky jumpers conceals the body from the prying gaze, but once the short sleeve or sleeveless tops are worn, it is impossible to deny the girth and bulges thereof!! This week I sort of got into the swing of it and over the next four weeks I am aiming to drop as low into the 70s as possible I have lots of summer clothes bought only in January / February 2013 and worn only a few times. My incentive now is to be able to wear those almost new clothes for the start of this season and to feel and look good in them! How is your 20 kilo progress? Do come and join me in this thread. 20 kilos is both daunting and exhilarating. Together, we can do it Cheers Kristine |
