Default Re: Clean eating, happy living! GAME ON!

Hi LLL - we all (most of us anyway) knows exactly what you're saying. Since you blew this meal, you blew this day, will start again tomorrow, who starts on a Wednesday anyway...you'll start on Monday...blah blah blah...been there, done that, got the personalised T-shirt...

For me it is 3 days...if only I can complete 3 days in a row, then I simply cannot give up those horrible first 3 days for something that is gonna make me so miserable anyway.

Take it one day at a time - one meal in fact - you can totally do it!

Hi LLL

The power of the mind never cease to amaze me. I find the most self destructive thought is this one "Oh well I ate the wrong thing now might just as well make this fail worth my while" I dont know why we do this to ourselves.

But also I believe take one meal at a time and just stumble ahead, at some point it does get easier

You look absolutely fantastic by the way!

Yeah LLL! There's not too many of us who wouldn't understand what your saying. I've had to post every single day for the last month that I've stayed DF....it is tough at times, we're here to support you. Keep hold of that quiet voice steering you on the straight and narrow x

Hi LLL_16,

Thanks for dropping in! I have seen your struggle in your diary. It is really, really hard at the end isn't it? I think it is because we feel good about how we look and we are ready to go out and socialise again. I did Cohens for 6 months and that was long enough. I was struggling to stay on plan at the end and I was so sick of the Cohen's food. I don't know how some people do it for over a year. As you get closer to refeed it certainly becomes a struggle as you can see the light and the hunger starts to kick in.

You can do this LLL_16!!!!!!!! You deserve to finish this properly and achieve your goal. Think of how proud you will feel when you get there. You are amazing!!!!

LLL, it's been so helpful for me to read through your posts and how honestly you've portrayed your inner struggles as well as the whole Cohen's thing.
You look so beautiful, and you've done an amazing job.
I think we all have periods where we do those battles in our head, but look how you have recognised that space and managed it. You're doing so amazingly well!
