Default Iv shrunk... In height. New cohans program to squash slight gain

Hi every one. I started Cohan's mid last year. Got to my refeed at 62kg ( with the 2kg allowance). Iv weighed in today at 65.1kg. So iv had a small gain in 7 months. I decided to go back on the program to get to the bottom end of my goal being 57kg. However when I went to the clinic today, I had lost height. So with the height lose my new goal (bottom range) is 55kg.

I thought I had between 3 to 6kg to loose, now I have 10. Lol. Anyway, has anyone else shrunk in both weight and height?

I had a lot more to loose with my previous program, just wondering if anyone else has redone the program just to get back on track and how much and how fast did they drop the weight?

It took me about 6 months to shed the 34kg last time, but I did have a forced error (approx 15 days) I got sick and was in hospital, then I couldn't eat.

I'm about to officially start fasting for my first blood test tomorrow. 😛

Wow! That's a huge loss for you! It's my first time to know that you can also lose height in Cohen. Interesting!

Anyway, for sure, it is doable and easier to lose 10kg this time. Many others return to Cohen program several times and suceeded. So cheers to you! Welcome and Goodluck on your second time.

Ah that really sucks were you standing up straight? I would be stretching like crazy for a do over. I suppose it all depends really on what you feel most comfortable with at the end of the day. Dont get too fixated on the number rather focus on how you feel in your clothes and in yourself. I really feel for you - Im also needing to drop a few kilos from holiday and then I plan to move much lower than my goal and purely because I want to wear a smaller size and I will look better but I also remember at the end feeling really horrid and cold and hungry - so how you feel and whats on paper as a goal must be considered. Im going to try but who knows - will see how it goes. Good luck will check in on your progress.

Yes I was really cold too. Iv only just started to feel worm again. I wonder why that is. Yes, il see how I feel when I get there. The part I really love is not feeling guilty for eating. I know the food is making me lose weight, not gain.

id be more inclined to say you were measured incorrectly the first or second time. I was told when you lose weight if anything you will get slightly taller due to less pressure pressing down on ur spine (making you shorter)

Hi Fluffy,

The height thing is interesting... hahaha I will have to measure myself to check this one out... but I have gone down by 1 shoe size!

If you use the 2 kilo allowance again this time then 57kg could still the bottom of the range

The feeling cold I can totally relate too! I have been absolutely freeeezing this winter - my feet are the worst, they never seem to warm up at all... I am putting it down the fact that I have lost my layer of insulation or blubber as I used to call it.....

I think that if you are purchasing a new plan to lose the 10 kilos then you should have them off in no time at all, I have heard that it is difficult if using an old plan, it should still work but not as quickly.

Good luck Fluffy!!

allie
