Re: Hello???
Sorry for not being here.... At the time of my first post I had just started on the programme but I gave up after the first week! My focus wasn't there but I feel I am now ready.Well, pleased to say, I will be starting on Cohens as of tomorrow, 9 Sept. Hold thumbs for me so I don't fall off the wagon again pl-eeeeeze!!! Jozi, you are doing great! How much do you have to lose? Please be careful and have your blood pressure checked. The dizzy spells may also just be from coz your body is missing out on the carbs. Are you still on reefed Tes? Great to be back here guys and we sure as hell need each others' support!!! (well I do!!) Have a super week!

Re: Hello???
Hello Bokkies!!
I'm starting week 5 today!! My eating plan is going well ...but ooooh so boring. I don't really eat meat or chicken, so my options are extremely limited (when I say extremely ..I mean mainly cheese and feta) I know you aren't really supposed to have cheese more than 3 times a week - but what can a girl do. I have started eaten some fish (mainly hake - disguised in curry powder) - to give a bit of variety to my diet. I have been awful on the water front - I really, really can do, should do, will do - better this week. I've got a challenging weekend coming up with visitors from Cape Town and Durban and promises and threats of loads of wine and and and.... I haven't told anyone about my eating plan. And I'm trying very hard not to drink alcohol - even for one night (because it liberates me totally of my willpower) I'll be the boring designated driver :/ I'm happy with my weight loss. I still have not stood on a scale (I'll get to that point). It's a little psychological game I play with myself. I also still not fitting into a lot of my 'old' clothes. I can feel I have lost - and hope that the next four weeks will be when I really start to notice it on my clothes. I remember that corner that you suddenly turn on Dr Cohens when all your clothes start falling off you. I cannot wait to get there. So, the journey for me continues ..one day at a time. Stay strong and stay focused!! sending you lots of Dr Cohens filling my tummy with love and willpower vibes Jozilicious |

Re: Hello???
Hi Jozi!!
So glad to hear that you're still on track. Keep it up girl! Must be very difficult for you being vegetarian. Have a look at some vegan recipes to make your food more interesting and easy. Mozzarella cheese I have quite often for lunch (easy to make with salad and I melt the cheese on crackers). At this stage I do not even want visitors or go out to visit until a significant weight reduction has been achieved (which is the point when you don't care about other foods and you're just focussed on reaching your goal). First time around when I did Cohens I went to braai's and had my portion of meat and salad (guessing the portions) and had Tab or Coke light and fruit. It kept me full and I had no desire to have wine! I'm so excited for you cause at 5 weeks you should have lost quite a bit..... pleeeze let us know when you step on that scale. It will motivate me! Drink that water and if you do stray, just carry on again!! Good luck girl!! |

Re: Hello???
Jes!!!! Hello Babe! I was looking for you on whatsapp, but then saw that you were only active on X-mas day 2013! I missed you so! I've been maintaining since Feb of this year but went up 5kgs from RF finishing weight and since we're going to Durbs for the long weekend I decided that it was about time I got back to my 'comfort zone'. I've already dropped 3 and feeling marvelous!
Tes - glad to see that it's going very well for you under the circumstances - not long before you're back to your own happy place and finish this RF thing for good! Happy belated B-day, and congrats on looking fabulous! And of course on your running achievements! Nice to meet you Jozi! If you girls haven't started a new whatsapp group, send me your cell phone numbers so that we can resurrect our little group, or add me to yours please. |

Re: Hello???
Hi Ladies
I started on 14/12/2015. It's been going well so far. Started at 112.6kg for a girl that's only 1.56 that's quite a lot. I lost 4.1kg in the first week. Second week weigh in is next week Monday. How is everyone else doing. I'm just planning to be on plan on X-Mas and New Year's Day. I know it will be tough but if I can get through those two days I can withstand anything. All the best to everyone. |
