I had this for dinner last night, and then promptly made a version of it for todays lunch - was delish. I used courgette as well as mushroom, and just used water rather than sweetner. Loved it. Going to be a regular on my menu.

my first experiement with sprite making a tomato sauce didn't turn out so well the other night

I've had this three times int he last 6 days, it is one of the BEST things I've ever eaten!

I have been on cohens 15 weeks and was starting to find my usual stir fries a little boring!! A friend mentioned this forum and this was the first recipe I tried and it's just yum, have had it 3 or 4 times this week so quick and easy and best of all tastes divine!!

Eating an adaption of this for lunch right now - happy to say that with kangaroo / beef and coke zero instead of sprite it tastes fantastic. I used my cracker allowance to thicken it just a little. It's very filling. Will be a regular for the winter.

Hello everyone! i wanted to try this so bad but I am not allowed to have any hot spices :'( has anyone tried any other spice or can recommend another chicken (w/sprite) recipe that seems as tasty?

Recipe Description

Lovely sweet and saucy...the best! 

Ingredients:

Chicken
Tomato
Onion (red preferably)
Mushrooms
Paprika
Diet Sprite
Mayo 

Preparation Steps:

Slice chicken into small strips
Coat in paprika (as much as you can get away with ie teaspoon)
Cut up all vegies 

Level of Difficulty:

Easy 

Time Needed:

5 - 10

Instructions:

Fry up chicken in pan
As soon as brown add some diet sprite or water
Add vegies
Cook on high heat and allow fluid to 'cook down'
