Is teeth whitening procedure painful?

Hey! I have been to a rehabilitation centre in my locality because of my smoking habit. I smoke nearly 8-10 cigars a day. I used to attend smoking parties also and because of all these my elder sisters took me to the rehabilitation centre. The place was not that scary as I imagined but it was quite difficult for me at first. Now I'm perfectly fine. But this smoking habit has caused stains on my teeth. It looks weird when I smile so my mom asked me to undergo teeth whitening procedure to get rid of those stains. She has scheduled an appointment with a dentist in Burlington on 10th August. I heard mixed reviews regarding the procedure so I'm just worried. Is the procedure really painful? Thanks for your time!!

I don't think so teeth whitening procedure is so painful. You can do this at home naturally and removing in natural way is far better than doing treatment. One of the best thing you can do is practice oil pulling everyday. Oil pulling is the best and old method of removing the stains from the teeth and also it improve oral hygiene and toxins from the body.
All you need to do is swishing oil around in your mouth which will kill all the bacteria in your mouth. For this take coconut oil or sesame oil and swish it around your mouth.

Or you can use hydrogen peroxide a natural bleaching agent which kills bacteria and gives you a perfect whiten teeth. But you need to be little caution while using hydrogen peroxide.
