What a transformation in only a few months, Jenny. You've done so very well. It won't be long until you are entering refeed, and then the rest of your life.

My health is not good and my doctor is predicting all sorts of nasty things if I don't lose weight.

Back again for the support. Still think the diet and the forum are the best ever, but too old to do it again. Now losing again slowly on maintenance diet. Ticker shows next intermediate goal only (5 kilos).

Default Week 28

Well after this week of being back 100% I feel great and am happy to be back to routine with my eating and a simple menu again!!!!!

Am happy to report that all my xmas weight and more has gone to have me at a new low of 78.9kg Very happy with this as I could feel in my clothes after my holidays that I think I was carrying around alot of fluid so thankfully it came off quickly this week and I am feeling great!!!!
So now it the home run to the finish line

This week has been a busy week back at work...the phone has not stopped ringing which is a great thing considering all the talk of the economic downturn. Fortunately for us hairdressers, people still need haircuts and would rather not being showing those grey hairs!!!!!
We are considering hiring again, it does take a while to sort through the good and not so good hairdressers.

We bought back a lot of NQ mangos when we were home at Xmas so I have been freezing them in batches as they ripen and fortunately for me hubby doesn't like them........more for me yay!!!!!!!

Thanks Maria, Ellabelle, Deedeemay, Paula, Mette & AJ for stopping by and for the lovely comments. I really had a great holiday and it was nice to see some photos of myself that I actually liked

Have a great week

Wow, Jenny! You look awesome and well done for shedding the indulgences and then some! I agree, it feels so great to be back on track with good, wholesome food!

You really do not have very far to go anymore, only just over 8kgs and you will be able to start your refeed as well! Looks like we may be doing it together!

It's good news that your business is keeping busy with lots of customers etc. That means at least business is good!

Looking forward to meeting you in person next Sunday at the Brissie lunch!

Vee

Default How you going Jenny?

Hi Jenny, Thanks for all your support. I even have your other two aunties checking out this forum and seeing how we are both progressing. I got through day one ok. I weighed everything and packaged up some meat and chicken and then today I went and bought some seafood cos I reckon if thats all the protein I am allowed then I am going to enjoy it. I was amazed how the veges soon weighed up to the allowed amount. I am sure I will get use to it. Keep up the good work.

Default Week 29

This week has probably been the hardest so far for me....I have been battling some sabotaging thoughts and cravings. Cravings more so for a break from the routine of this program not at all for chocolate or bad carbs thank goodness, so I guess that is definately a positive.

I think because I'm thinking to far ahead into maintenance.....like how I'm going to eat on maintenance etc. I think I am going to take a step back and tackle each day at a time and infact am feeling better today about getting this thing finished. I am excited about my new life beyond cohens but I need to focus on this last little bit. I have come to far now thats for sure.

The Beck diet solution is a great read and now have taken to reading it as soon as I feel overwhelmed by all my crazy thoughts. It is a great tool to help overcome bad habits etc.

This week was still a good week loss wise and have lost 1.1kg very happy with that.

So excited for my Aunty Rosemary (RosemaryFNQ) who started cohens this week. One of my many relatives who were shocked and excited by my weight loss at Xmas. It is very exciting to be an inspiration to other people, as it was not that long ago I was inspired by many people on this forum and still am inspired each day with all your lovely comments.

Can't wait to meet all the lovely cohenites at the brissy get together for lunch today. It'll be a hoot!!!!!!

Have a great week

Well lunch today was great. The brissy cohenites are fab and we could have chatted for hours I'm sure
For me it was just what the doctor ordered, I feel more motivated to finish this journey and continue with the self discovery and learn how to maintain the new skinny me....it does feel weird to write "skinny me" but thats who I want to be now no hiding behind the fat.

Have a great week everyone, I think I may start posting daily I think changing my ticker more regularly will also help me feel that my goal is getting closer. I might try it this week

It was fab meeting you today, Jenny, your photo's do not do you justice!!
So happy to hear that you are feeling more motivated. I have to say that I am too and feel that I can finish this last step to refeed!
It's fabulous that you have been able to inspire your Aunt as well!
Here's to finishing this (raises water bottle)!!

I know what you mean by wanting to be the 'skinny me'. This weekend has been one of self discovery for me, and it is so great to no longer have to hide behind layers of fat!
So glad you guys had a great lunch! I wish I could have been there!

Hey Jenny - look forward to seeing your daily posts and how the journey is going for you. I'll be intrigued to see how you begin to work with being a skinny you (much like its intriguing to read Vee's journey). I haven't even started to think about that end of the journey - just one day at a time for me at present staying deviation free. Saw some great outfits yesterday when shopping in town and all I could think was can't wait to get there!! Looking forward to shopping this winter I think (hoping the weight keeps falling off like it did my two weeks pre-cohens).

So best wishes losing the last bit - Cheers, Kay.
