Hi Shell,

I thought weight loss was supposed to slow down towards the end

You are doiing unbelievably well

You'll have to come to a screeching halt and the finish line

Cheers

Morning all.
No loss today.
Feeling VERY freezing today, just been to the supermarket to get some green tea- I have never drank tea or coffee.
Need something to warm me up- it's not bad actually

Starting to feel a bit "over it" again, but I will keep plodding on as long as I feel I can manage it.
Have a good day

Is it only a couple of weeks ago that we were roasting, shell? It's cold here today, and we're getting some decent showers.

It must feel great to be so close to goal and be able to look back on all you've achieved

Well I had my breakfast about 30-45min after I got up this morning (thanks Bibabs), was usually taking it to work and having it nearly 2 hours after I got up, thought that might make me less hungry.
Having it earlier has helped making me less hungry all day!!!
Great help at this stage of the journey.

Also had a horrible experience with my credit card today

I have been "scammed" by someone- they have put approx $1200 on my Visa!!!!! (have a limit of $1000 just got back $35 because they overdrew my card)

I was trying to buy a Bamix from the net and my card wouldn't work, & I just paid the damn thing off, so I ring the bank to querie it & the lady said have you bought this and that and im like NO I didn't!!!
They have used it all over the world!!! More than 8 transactions ranging from $1.00 to $760.00
Don't think (hope I don't) have to pay for it, the fraud squad will be in contact.

In one way, lucky I was buying the Bamix, or whilst I will be away on the weekend, I wouldn't have had any $$ !!!
I NEED to buy MORE (warm) clothes!!

Good losses to everyone tonight!

What bad luck, shell. Happened to my husband a few months ago, but the amount was quite small. Our bank (ANZ) phones as soon as they see two transactions that look out of the ordinary and ask about them. In his case, he'd tried to buy a golf club from a firm in Texas, but the transaction wouldn't go through for some reason. Next thing, the bank's calling to ask if he's put through a couple of transactions on a Brazilian telco. The banks usually cover the cost because they want us to use the Internet for our banking. Even so, there's always some inconvenience.

Oh geez Shell that's horrible .. I hope it all gets sorted quickly..

I have breaky first thing in the morning like Bibabs too & I find it helps me big time.. I also drink a lot of water before I eat breakfast like 2 or 3 big glasses then I eat..

I hope these last couple just 'drop' off for you.. not long at all to go now

Nothing to report here again today, maybe tomorrow!!

I won't be online for a few days, going to Broken Hill for my Uncle's funeral.
A few days of not weighing every morning might be a good thing

I feel so close but still so far away from re-feed at the moment, I know it will happen, I just wish it would happen a bit quicker!
Oh well, every day my body is doing it's "thing" might be shrinking at the moment!!
Have a great day everyone!

Hope your few days away will/did go well, shell. Cohenwise that is. Apart from the unfortunate event that is the focus, a funeral is often the only time the whole extended family gets together after we grow up.

Thanks, Faithy. Andy, Pandora and AJ & Becca,

I am heading off 6am tomorrow morning, have all my meals cooked and ready to go for tomorrow, not sure if I would have had time, at the right time to cook my meals, so I thought I would go prepared.
Have my other meals frozen, ready to cook for the Saturday, where I will have more time.
So close & can start re-feed anytime now so I don't want to stuff it up now!!

Had a really good day today, being busy certainly helps keep your mind off thinking you are hungry!!
Learning heaps of things in my new job, which I love. Always good to learn!
Have a great weekend everyone

Morning, had a great Cohen's weekend- totally 100%!!

Bit hard when we all went out for tea, had to sneak mine in and eat before the others, as it is very hard with them eating all thier nice food- it was very isolating

Was expecting a good drop from my last weight check on Friday morning, got on the scales (twice) before I went to bed last night and they said 63.1!!!!!

I got very excited and then thought that doesn't seem right.

Alas this morning thay read 64.2- which is only 500g for the week

Surely, I am due for a decent drop soon!!!!!

Have a good day

I understand cold, shell. Hope it clears up when we're back to normal eating.

I've been wearing thermal underwear I bought from Damart years ago. Haven't heard from them in quite a while, but I expect they're still around.

Morning all,

I had a thought (ouch!) this morning, I was wondering why I have been coping with what seemed to be slower weight loss at the moment?
500g for this week, not much, but it was 4.7kg for the month- not shabby!!

I keep thinking, not as often as I was, I want this finally over and done with.
But I realised this morning, that the basic principals of Cohen's, is how I will have to eat- EVEN AFTER I HAVE "FINISHED"!!!!

I am really surprised at the moment at how calm and happy I am, being SO close to "the end", at this stage of the journey I am prepared for my body to do what it has to do to, for me to get to goal weight.

I have come so far, if it takes a little longer, so be it !!!!! (must be having a very happy hormone day )

Have a good day
Shell
