Hey Shanara,
I have never really thought about going to a naturopath but it sounds very interesting. I haven't heard about the epsom salt baths before. How often and how much do you use (so it is good for detoxing????).
Thanks for opening my world a little.

Well the scales are moving in the right direction again - 117.7 now. I had been integrating for a few days. Still feeling like TOM is around the corner but no sign - perhaps I am going to miss this month.

Had an interesting call from the clinic about my blood tests which are showing an abberation. Not a deviation but a couple of the numbers are not in the right range and Dr Cohen has suggested I drink more water. As I am already drinking 3 to 4 litres a day they are going to email him and get some clarification - should know today. Am now keeping a track of my water consumption.

So happy to be wearing some favourites that I had grown out of - they are looking good. I am feeling good. yesterday very hungry and a bit vulnerable - took son shopping with me so that I wouldn't deviate - he was great. Pushed the grocery trolley and loaded the bags.

Katie - you could be right - verbal diahorrea!! Katie looks like my youngest is going to stay permanently with his dad and changing schools. Even though i know its best for him part of me still feels guilty and a bit of a failure. I stayed in Broken Hill years ago for 6 weks doing a prac teaching stint - interesting place.

Louise - you have got me thinking about my poor neglected garden.

Joroma - please crank up your sewing machine and I will drop my clothes in to you - I am hopeless around a sewing machine - If school wouldn't let me do woodwork and metal work I wasn't going to sew and cook ..lol

Gorgeous - epsom salts bath great for detoxing - I use about half to one bax ina deep bath - don't sty in longer than about 20 mins as too drawing on system and you start to reabsorb toxins - great stuff epsom salts bath.

maria - yes more water

Delilah - a delight to travel this journey with you.

DD - your on - although I am a bit behind you so looks like it is a chase - watch out - I'm ready to tag you!

Asmara - my naturopath uses a computer that take sreadings and then she analysises and checks body sytems - really great - I have been going to her for a while.

well I have to get this assessment finished today - enjoy your day everyone. Love to each and every one of you. May you be a big loser today!

Shanara

Congratulations how exciting.... isn't it great when you get to put on some of your favourite clothes again!

You are doing so well - good on you!

That is very unusual with the blood test, hope the clinic can help you find some answers

Hi Shanara!

Well done, down to 117 already! Fantastic work!
You are opening up my world too with all your tips, integrating, epsom salts, etc! Thanks for sharing .
I'm so happy for you that you are fitting into your fav clothes again! Enjoy them while you can!

sorry to hear about the blood test 'abberation'.... lets hope all is easily sorted to get it right!

Change is hard, when it comes to your youngest son, and I'm sure that as you have always done your very best for him, you will at no time ever be considered a failure. Unfortunately we cannot see the bigger picture, but know that it's happened for a reason and that you have been successful in your endeavours!

Thanks for the hugz, big HUGZ right back at you!

Vee

Hi Shanara,

I hope that you have the same result as i have had in the next 12 weeks, just stay postive and it will happen.

It is funny, like you said that your are now at the weight that i was when i started, but the thing is that just over 2 years ago when i started work again after not working for 12 years i was 132kgs so i really know where you are coming from, but just from being more active at work helped me to lose 15kgs on my own, but then i hit a flat spot and didn't lose anymore, that is when i found Cohens which is the best thing i have ever done.
Thanks for the fairy dust.
I will give you some in return and hope it has a postive effect on both of us.

Thanks,

Purple Lady

Thanks Shanara,
I'm going to buy me some epsom salts and have those baths. It's a good excuse for escape anyway.

Well the scales are having fun with me and i am integrating a lot at the momment. Seems like i have to drink over 4 litres a day - preferably a bit more particularly in hot weather. So feels like my stomach is a swimming pool at momment - but hungry. I can't believe TOM hasn't come yet as I have been having a lot of symptoms for awhile now.

Also am quite tired and realise its from getting up early - 4.30 or 5 am to get son up for work experience. Will try to catch up on sleep over the weekend.

Katie - think i will give the guilt away - to behonest will be glad when he goes back to his Dad's tonight - his energy is so heavy in the house.

Gorgeous - they are fantastic - I bought 3 packs of epsom salts with the shopping this week - more baths coming up.

Purple Lady - thanks you are so sweet - feels like I could use all the fairy dust I can get today! Sounds like going back to work was good for oyur weight .

Louise - have to get my fence redone first - you have inspired me. You are so close to your goal now .

Vee - seems like I am to drink lots more water and see how that goes. Glad to open up your world.

Ellabelle - thanks for dropping in - you will some be in the refeed section .

Here's some fairy dust for us all, including me

Sounds like a good plan for the weekend! Just catch up on rest etc. That will surely help the losses! I know it always did with me!

Hope you have a great relaxing weekend and that it gets things moving for you again!

Absolutely REST, rest REST REST

Is the best thing for you!

Don't feel guilty about your son...easier said than done I know. (I've been there too, with my daughter and also a stepson)
You know you have done your best and for whatever reason, being at his dad's is probably the best place for him right now. That may change again in the future, just so long as you don't shut any doors or burn any bridges, it WILL get better, and you will probably end up with a stronger relationship for it. Those teen years are a bit of a nightmare to be honest (I have 2 more kids to go through it yet...*sigh* Already gone through it with 4) but persevere, be tolerant and understanding...they are hormonally affected at this stage in their lives and don;t quite understand why their behaviour is so erratic - just think about the worst hormonal time you have had - pregnancy perhaps? Thats what these kids are going through. So just remember it IS a short term thing, by the time they get to 19 or so most of them have well and truly outgrown it and turned into the nice people they were as little kids again.

Hi Shanara

I hear ya about the water and feeling like a swimming pool. Hang in there. Intergrating isn't as exciting as seeing the scales drop but boy when ya measure and ya shrunk, that's the true sign of weight loss. That slide down will happen again. And watch when it does. You are in for the ride of your life weeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee! Phew

Re your son, perhaps all that heavy energy and stress is affecting your weight loss. If he settles in fine with dad for awhile, then just remember you did your best and like DD says, and I have to keep reminding myself this also, it's just hormones and the time when they need to find themselves and their place in this great big world of ours. Some rest and less stress with surely take care of those drops.

Keep us posted. I'm waiting for this big party. I got the mango and sprite zero on chill.

Have a relaxing fat busting weekend

Katie

Shanara,
With all that water you better reserve a toilet for a quick (and many) journeys. What goes in usually has to come out. Take care,
Michele I hope you don't drown. lol

Lolololol Michele....you made me laugh. Feels like I am drowning !! Love our little Ness icons - where did you get those ??

Well the scales are again moving downward - must be all the water 4.25 litres yesterday!!117.2kg and my hydration is again coming up. Almost 4 litres so far today!!

Starting to look forward to the 20 KG mark. I only have to loose this amount again and I will be double figures - waaahhoooo! Hopefully by end of January.

Today has been lovely although i did wake up at 4 - dozed until 6 then went to the organic farmers markets and bought my food for the week. Grocery bill much smaller when its just eldest son and I.

House is quiet - no heavy metal music blasting out. Although I do miss youngest playing guitar, don't miss him playing his bass guitar!

Ellabelle - had a sleep this afternoon - Feel great for ir.

Katie - yes I do know in my head that being with his dad is best for him at this stage of his life - my heart is a bit hurt though. Although if I am honest I was relieved to see him go on friday.

DD - 19????????? - that's four years away - omg Obviously not the time to be holding my breath. Not burning any bridges - thanks for the advice. Your obviously an expert - 4 kids omg !! I have enought trouble with 2!

Vee - my relaxing weekend is working - hope you are having a relaxing one as well.

Hope all cohenites are feeling smaller this weekend.
Shanara

Hi Shanara

You will clearly be the most hydrated Cohenite!

Sounds like you are coping with the increase really well.

Glad you got some rest this weekend.

Isn't 6am still the night?? Clearly I am not a morning person!

Here's hoping your weightloss journey stays so successful!
