Hi Faithy I have been following your diary and I know you are a woman of God, he will not give you more than you can handle. All things work for out for the best, think of what exciting opportunities may be waiting around the corner. Start saying out loud "something good is going to happen to me today, this too shall pass, God has a solution to all my problems even before they arise." I found that when I say things out load as stupid as it may feel it helps to stop the negative voices in my head stop.

Good luck

Thank you SOOO much Beautiful People .. you all made me smile & that's the best gift, thank you

Last night I got myself so stressed out, trying hard not too though :P.. & I lay on the lounge watching TV I realised how far I have come.. Irene you hit the nail on the head.. I DIDN'T reach in to the fridge & I am sooooo amazed, proud.. everything really.. of how different I am. I won't lie.. I did lay there dreaming of really yummy, fatty, shepherds pie that I use to make.. what an odd thing to dream about.. but there was never a moment of ooo lets get up & see what I can munch on..

One other HUGE change, kind of weird too I suppose.. is that when I got stressed or whenever I thought of food, it would usually be junk.. like chocolate or crisps.. or crisp sandwiches made with white bread & lots of butter (ewww).. now if I do dream of food it's usually an extra apple or my meat with spinach LOL.. I also use to LOVE smelling other people's food.. the other day I went to the movies with one of my daughter's & I asked her if I could smell her crisps.. they smelt awful!!!!.. I've smelt crisps again since then to see if it was just a one off thing, & they all smelt really bad... I have to say that that excites me.. it's like a huge hurdle has been jumped over..

I realise now that the longer I'm doing this, the less likely it is I will fail. I'm LOVING the food & I'm loving feeling awesome.

Thanks Wendy .. Yeah I think so :P.. although I wish it was coming off just a little bit faster :P.. will be interesting to see if the weight loss slows down much towards the end.. I've heard various opinions on that one.. and whether or not I'll make it by my goal which is May.

Anyway thanks hey

Thanks heaps Cait

Well I had my weigh in today. I'm SOOO over the moon. Another 7.2 kilos gone, a total of 77.1!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Here's my weight progress...

22/04/2007 ~ First weigh in
20/05/2007 ~ 14.1 loss
19/06/2007 ~ 7.5 loss
17/07/2007 ~ 7.5 loss
14/08/2007 ~ 7.4 loss
11/09/2007 ~ 6.8 loss
9/10/2007 ~ 7.1 loss
7/11/2007 ~ 6.0 loss
4/12/2007 ~ 6.1 loss
8/01/2008 ~ 7.4 loss
5/02/2008 ~ 7.2 loss

Apparently I have between 10 to 15 to go, depending on where I want to stop. I still have no idea, but I'll work that out when I get there

hey faithy,

well its official.....YOU ARE THE LEGEND WOMAN....i totally love you. i am sooooo inspired by you. everytime i think god i wish this would hurry up (which is reasonably often that this point) i am going to think of you and say to myself ' bloody hell faithy has been at this since april last year....stop whingeing penny.

are you going to enter into slimmer of the year? ( i can hear asy gasp from here )

you would have to be a contender. i got a pamphlet in the mail from weight watchers the other day asking me to come back and lose weight. inside they had a photo of their slimmer of the year and she went from a size 24 to a size 12 but they didnt say in what time frame. now i think a size is about 6kgs or there abouts. so she would have lost around 36ish kgs. she isnt even in the same ballpark as you.

go directly into the bathroom after reading this post and kiss the mirror. that woman staring back at you is seriously capable and strong and committed and results driven. she deserves a kiss.

luv ya work mate.

cheers pen

Wow wow wow, you are amazing and example of what can be achieved once the mind is in the right place. It is so amazing that you have lost so much without working out. It will be over soon. I bet people don't recognise you.

Well done again.

Hi Faithy, as you know i so LOVE keeping up with your diary you gorgeous creature you!! Your man will be locking you up soon as you are sizzling hot these days!

A few days ago you mentioned the yummy fatty shepherds pie recipe you used to make etc. Just as well you still have 12kg (approx) to go! In that time from now till the END, you will no doubt find yourself in the same place as me! It is so exciting but a wee bit weird! Has been happening since (even before!) end of refeed. I go food shopping. I buy all healthy cohen friendly. I see lots of food for the "OTHER PEOPLE" and there is no way i want it, i now know what it does to my body! I bask in the freedom of having learned what foods excite my body and what foods are like death to my very soul! You are a winner for life when you get the difference! Pandora

hi faithy

yours is one diary I have read from start to finish, so I'm a longtime lurker, first time poster.

You are a gorgeous woman, and when I read that you had a 21yo I thought you'd become a mother at about 9!! You look so young in your pic, I also thought you were Greek until I read that you dye your hair.

anywayz, big congrats on the massive weight loss, 77kg is a whole other person, and an overweight one by Cohen's standards. Your body must feel so much better and healthier, and your life would've improved exponentially.

I know you'll blitz these next 10-15 kilos, cos you're the queen of not deviating and an inspiration to us all!!!

cya
