Actually Shanara, I have 6 kids, although I cheated and inherited 3 of them when hubby n I married, and then we had one together to make the half dozen... his eldest was 13 when we moved in together...wow what a shock to the system THAT was! I learned a lot with him, but the major lesson was all kids are different, and no formula works for them all. Just trust your instincts, and all will be fine.
These days we only have the youngest 2 living at home his 13yo son....and our soon to be 7yo daughter, so life is MUCH quieter!
There are two grandbabies too, twin girls turning one in a week or so. Although technically I am not a grandmother, merely married to a grandfather......LOL
Anyway I wish you luck and perseverance with your son, maybe with less stress you may lose even more as katie suggested!

Have a great night gorgeous girl!

I say hat's off to anyone with any children! I don't know how Mum's do it!

I have no children and find a full time job and keeping up with the house to be exhausting enough.

3 Cheers for Mothers ~ you guys deserve way more than just Mothers day!

Well am feeling slightly amazed this morning - 116.9 and I have realised i ma now 25% through this amazing journey. I can't believe it has happened so quickly. In about 7 weeks - and the first two of those I was only doing precohens I have lost 25% of the weight I want to loose. Amazing.

When I first rang the clinic I said I wanted to loose around 50 kgs and was very surprised it turned out Ii had over 70 to loose - just didn't realise I had got that big. Now I have just over 50 to loose.

Hail to the good doctor - I hope he has really good karma from helping all of us.

Oh I feel so relaxed today after my rest day yesterday and have already cleaned half my desk and its only 9am!! Looking good!!

Jenny - funny I was about to pop into your diary after writing this and here you are ....doing a happy dance

Delilah - I am hoping for end of January as well - YOUR ON !!

Ellabelle - guess we oly write about the problem times - there are also great times as well - don't want to put you off them.

Dedeemay - deosn't matter how they arrive -they are still a lot of caring and work to do.

Fairy dust for all the mums and their kids ..and their partners.... if they have one.

Have a beautiful Cohens Sunday everyone.

Shanara

Hi Shanara!!

Time to dance in celebration again, with you achieving 25% of your total losses already!! Way to go!!
Wooooooooo hoooooooooooooo!!!

So happy to hear you had a lovely relaxing Saturday and that you feel refreshed from it!
You sound very in-tune with yourself and that will most definitely help with the losses. Your journey has been so interesting and your progress is truly inspiring!

Wow Shanara you are going great guns
How's the water going. Here is an exercise for you. Lie on the floor, tighten stomach muscles then loosen. YOU CAN HEAR THE WATER SLOSHING AROUND!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Just a bit of entertainment.....
Another good thing for the salt bath is add some essential oils, but don't pour straight into the water; as oils don't disperse in water. Put e. oils in a small amount of milk (full cream if you have it) the milk breaks down the oil molecules. Then pour the milk into your bath. Choose an essential oil to reflect on your mood of the day, or to assist releasing het up emotions or to just relax.
I'm off drumming Dee Why this arvo, last circle of drums for the year.
Bright blessings

A lovely relaxing soak in a bath of essential oils (in milk) is a great pampering treat, and it usually helps you sleep really well too!
Glad you enjoyed it!
Wish you could have been there too! Mette is as lovely in person as she is in her posts! She will be back home and posting again by Wed or Thursday of this week!

Good luck with your last assessment!!

Vee

Well I feel great today. No loss on scales and thats OK. Had a wonderful relaxing weekend and managed to catch up with some friends and my mum over the weekend. Cleared out some cupboards and did a whole lot of other little things that needed doing.

This morning went to my aqua aerobics class which I have had to miss for a couple of weeks - feels so good to move my body again.I hope it will help slow muscle loss which is one reason my creatinine levels were up. Wore my new swimmers that i bought just before i started the programme. there one of those stretchy ones that say loose 10 lbs in a minute. Well don't know how i got myself into it before i lost the weight. Still feels snug at this size - 17kgs less. good though - am hoping it will last through the summer. And did look much better on me - I now have a bust and a waist

Having just one more assessment to do also helps and its not due til next Friday so if I start today will have plenty of time.

Going to go get car washed today - no I'm not doing it myself - we have water restrictions in Sydney - what was that - they're over - oh not hearing you !!

Vee - have been thinking of a trip up to Byron or Brisbane in next few weeks - see how I go with this assessment. Just feel like a break away.

Ellabelle - the bath is wonderful and the oil makes it so good. Not to mention the milk. You are so close to end of programme journey - next refeed journey.

DD - did you do the early morning swim - I feel much better for mine.

Gorgeous One - I see a big party happening around end of January !!
Let's Dance

Have a wonderful shrinking day everyone
Shanara

haha - know what you mean with the car washing, afraid the only time my car really gets a wash is when it rains lol.

Glad to hear you had such a nice weekend and that you were able to get back into the water aerobics this morning ~ Amazing how good/healthy you feel after something like that

Hi Shanara

Just popped into your diary to see how you're doing and it looks like you're powering along! Well done. You sound so motivated and in "the zone". Keep going as you are and you'll be there in no time.

Thanks for visiting my diary, it's great to have your input.

Hope you have a great day.

Hi Shanara,

No I didn't get to swim this morning, had a couple of early morning phone calls and before I knew it, it was 7:45 and I hadn't had brekkie!

Spent a couple of hours in the pool this afternoon though, was nice although the water certainly wasn't cool, was like a big lukewarm bath...lol Still, was pleasant to get wet and play with the kids and hubby for a while. I have a new goal to add to my list...I found a pair of boardshorts I bought ages ago on a sale and have never fit into...i can aaaaalmost do them up! thats the next goal...wear those damn pink boardshorts LOL I too am fitting much more comfortably in the swimmers I got just before starting the program, I feel so much better in them now! The funny thing was how loose everything feels in the pool...thighs and tummy especially -just a mass of jiggling soft flesh...so much more obvious than out of the water! Hope that means its all ready to melt away sooner rather than later!!

Have a great night sweetie

Scales moving in right sirection today - 116.7. Only two kgs to go I will crack the 20kgs lost - boy this weight loss is happening quite fast, although sometimes it seems like a long way to go.

My water hydration is moving up as well and I am now drinking 4.5 ltrs of water a day. Hoping the creatinine levels are now decreasing. With extra water and aqua classes again I am hoping all will be in balance.

DD - go the boardshorts - you'll be in them very soon. Looking forward to meeting up when you come to Sydney.

Louise - looks llike we have a mutual admiration society going !!

Ellabelle - yes i am glad I started aqua a few months before Cohens - was going 3 to 5 times a week. Have cut down a lot but I really enjoyed the class.

Thanks everyone for popping in to read my diary and for all the support.
Shanara
