Thanks SMS & Penny.. you guys ROCK!!!! It sure has been stressful & I think I'm REALLY feeling the after effects right now.. I'm so incredibly tired & my body feels a bit like after you do if you've been driving in a car all day.. you know, like from Adelaide to Sydney... a bit shaky, heavy eyes & just plain tired..
Last night I went to bed to read at about 8.30 & hubby said I was out well & truly before 9.. I can't even remember reading anything..

What is also really odd, & perhaps I should get this checked out, but I am incredibly thirsty.. I'm drinking about 3 litres of water a day & on a bad day about a litre of Sprite Zero.. can't be good.

Yesterday was a really bad day for me. I just burst in to tears & said to Hubby that I'm SOOO over it. I really felt well & truly ready to just stop yesterday, my diet that is. I told him I wasn't going too just yet & I'm prepared to sit out this over tired feeling, but I was amazed at how down & out I felt.
So anyway, I decided to make my favourite Cohen's meal for dinner & just really sit back & enjoy it.. you know what REALLY sucked??!! The meat I bought was as tough as old boots! I was so peeved to say the least (you know Penny how I feel :P).. I felt totally ripped off.. all I can say is thank God for the fantastically juicy & sweet apple that came directly afterwards.

Today I do feel a lot better. Still tired, but not as much.. & I'm feeling a lot more focused today.. I know that this is NOT the weight I want to be so I'll just keep kicking my hoof (it grew over night) & plug along till the end.

Here's wishing you all the best Cohen's loss of weight week ever.. seems a few of us need that extra push..

yeah it's good to know that I am now THINKING before I just hog on in & eat LOL.. ugghhhh I was such a pig..

Hmmm hobbies.. well anything that you have to use your hands & think I reckon.. scrap booking is good.. painting, sewing.. I once took up cross stitch just to zone out & keep my hands busy.. I also took up doing my own nails too cause I had to do that once a week to keep them looking nice (the gel ones).. The internet is always good but I associate food with that LOL.. so it's not so good for me (long story that one).. photography is awesome, especially if you can get into photo shop etc..

Yeah I wanted to start the Sixty Chicks (not Dixi chicks) with Hexi when we both reached the sixties. You'd have to hide me in the back and keep me only singing doo wops as I'm a hideous singer

Yes Shell.. damn hormones LOL.. guess we need them though dont we :P

Kannadew, I KNOW!!!! Not long now.. It's way exciting.. I have to admit I feel a bit like I'm wearing a big set of blinkers.. So many people look at me amazed when I tell them how many more I have to go.. not that I tell many mind you, most people just can't seem to handle it.. But I have a goal in mind (as I've said a lot before) & I know I wont be content with my loss till I get there..

Each day I'm feeling more positive & upbeat.. The other day I guess I was just exhausted, but I'm glad I had the sense to sit it out & just wait.. Never make a decision without giving it a few days, or even weeks thought..

I'm still very tired, but no where near as much. I've been getting plenty or early nights & drinking lots of water. I've changed my food around a bit more too, varying the veggies a lot more than I had done in the past. I've also started taking more vitamins so we'll see how this next week goes.

I get weighed next Tuesday & I know the loss is going to suck because of the past coupe of weeks.. but I'm interested to see if I lose kilos a bit quicker these next couple of weeks because the past 2 have sucked so much or whether it's snail pace from here on in.

I made up a chicken chow mien for dinner tonight, had my 2 crisp breads & my favourite brand of apple & for the first time in 2 weeks I actually feel full & satisfied. The chicken was really yummy too which is way cool..

Speaking of apples.. there are SOOO many different varieties out there.. anyone got any ideas on which ones are the best or are they much the same as each other??

Today I went to try on some new black pants.. in this shop I was a size 12 too!!!! That's incredibly awesome.. I still don't get it, but I'm not complaining :P

Well, if you "snail pace" from here, I think you will be a "first" - I haven't seen much of that going on around here (devi's aside - and that ain't you). But you have had a couple of very stressful weeks which could affect things adversely for this month - so maybe you will stretch to make the usual 6Kgs . With things back to normal, though, you should still be ready for refeed by end of next month - you slim chick you

Whatever, you'll take it all in your stride and come back fighting anyway. Isn't it just 10Kg to go right now? Or pretty close to that.... You are still a star Faith - just keep on shining,

Koh

Hey Faithy. Thanks for visiting my diary. You're getting so close to goal - it must feel AMAZING and unreal. And getting into size 12 as well - that's so great! I know what you mean about having a goal and sticking to it. I've chosen a goal weight that is a few kg below Dr Cohen's recommendations, but I have my own reasons for that. I might reassess as I get closer, but for now that's what I'm working towards.

I have an apple every day. Some people have said apples make them hungry, but that hasn't happened to me yet. I almost always have the Pink Lady variety - so light and sweet, not tart like some Delicious or Jonathans can be. For a bit of variety I like to get Braeburn or Fujis every now and then - they're both great in season.

Thanks Guys ..

I just LOVE apples & perhaps that's my problem.. I am allowed 2 pieces of fruit a day & I have 2 apples every single day. I use to have one & then alternate between kiwi fruit & oranges, but I've found if I dont have an apple I feel deprived. Kind of odd really as I use to HATE the things. They use to make me feel hungry & they'd hurt my tummy.. now I just LOVE them. Perhaps my weight loss would be better if I changed them around a bit?? I dont know..

I have myself in a rather pathetic dilemma. Al & I got one of those Myer cards yesterday for various reasons & one of them was because we don't have 'NOW' money & I REALLY need some new clothes. We're in the middle of summer here (LMAO) & it's so damn freezing & all my clothes I've either thrown out, sold on ebay or they are just too big that they look ridiculous.

So yesterday Al came out with me & I bought a couple of new bras (a must have.. & since when am I a 12 LMAO.. oh but the cup is still a D so that's pretty cool.. I was worried I was going to look flat.. but a D cup for a 12 is a hell of a lot smaller than a D cup for a size 16).. I REALLY didn't expect to be a 12 & that ROCKS..
I also bought this wonderfully thick warm longish cardigan from the Miss Shop section, in a medium LOL & then I bought 2 x3/4 sleeved cardigans, you know the light weight ones that have just a few buttons in the front come in at the waist & they're pretty much everywhere. Anyway I got 2, one in grey & the other black. I adore them, BUT they were $70.00 each which I KNOW is ridiculous & I've been feeling a bit ill ever since I purchased them. I know Target have something similar with a thicker knit for about $30.00 or $40.00, so I'm thinking of taking these expensive ones back at just getting one cheap one from there instead.
It's also hard to know what to do because I DO need clothes now & I like to look nice, but in a month or 2's time I'll hopefully be at my goal & about 10 kilos lighter, so that's going to be another size or 2.

If only it stayed warmer for a bit longer, like it's suppose too.. then I wouldn't be in this dilemma because I've got plenty of summerish stuff to see me through.

Anyway, I'm thinking of taking them back as I said & maybe swapping one of the cardigans for another longer thicker one, cause it doesn't matter so much of they end up being a little big, but the little fitted ones will probably just look stupid too big.. then there's always jeans. I'm a 12 now & mine are a 16. It's weird cause I missed a whole size there somewhere LOL.

I start work next week in a jewellery store & I bought my uniform, very cheap I might add. I LOVE Crossroads, they have such cheap stuff along with awesome bargains. Anyway, the pants were a 12 & I just felt on top of the world about it...

Anyway, what would you guys do. It's really a girly thing though you know. Or maybe it's just me being vain. I'm on stage a lot with church & worship & I worry about stupid things like the tops of my arms & whether my tummy sticks out too much.. it's all rather pathetic.

EEK.. sorry for always going on about being a 12.. I;ve NEVER been that in my life .. a friend of mine said to me a few months back she thought I'd end up an 8 or a 10.. I just laughed at her & said no way.. I'm content to be a 12.. how wrong was I??!!
