How weight loss changes our views of shopping hey. I have always loved shopping but no where near as much as I do now. I have to control myself as I know if I buy clothes they wont fit for long.

Love that you can now hide behind SO.

Just been catching up on your diary.....
You deserve the Shopping Superstar!!!! Enjoy enjoy.
So agree....it's an awesome feeling to try on something (smaller) and feel great in it. We carry ourselves so much better too as our confidence and self esteem is higher when we know we've lost and we feel and really do look good. So celebrate yourself!!!
I plan to join you too - maybe not the shopping but the enjoyment of nice well fitting clothes and the feeling!!

Looking forward to seeing some more photos.....

So busy, busy, busy weekend coming up - trip to the big smoke to catch up with friends, work colleagues and forum friends...... oh and of course a liberal dose of shopping!!!

I have been in a bit of a funk the last couple of days - must be an integration thing - surprisingly I have just about run out of clothes in storage.... i can hear your disbelief.... poor Caro..... so just when I need to get some more clothing the voice of reason kicks in....... three hollies coming up to major shopping destinations, one smack at the end of my program (hopefully the end of August), one in October and another over Christmas!!!! Hmmmmm what do I really need right now - so I made a list, and then another one and then another one.........and the final one is still being tweaked!!!

But other than that - people are really starting to notice now, either that or they don't recognise me and walk straight past. Funny conversation though, met someone new while talking to someone not new and they came right out and said - Oh, I was expecting you to be bigger from what I'd heard, WTF!!!!!- But you know me, I will take a compliment wherever I can - apparently I had been described by someone old who had not seen me in a while!!!!!!!

So I hope that you are all having the same experiences and are loving them jusdt as much as I am.

Enjoy all the shopping in the world - you deserve it. The only problem is that clothes will be too big too soon!

I hear what you're saying about the clothes! I never thought I would be so happy to have nothing to wear! Agree with Kenga tho - don't go too mad as everything will soon be too big - very soon by the looks of things.

I am down to one skirt and one pr trousers for work, one pair of jeans and a couple of walking/track pants I inherited from AilsaQ yesterday. Roll on spring time shopping spree.

Look forward to piccies of your coffee catch up with the gals!

Well weekend of shopping, shopping, shopping I have never tried on so many clothes in my life - I never tried clothes on before - just took them home and if they didn't fit I would put it in the cupboard for "when I lose weight", well that time has passed, I am the queen of changing rooms!!!!

But I was controlled - new underwear, basic plain tees - IN A SIZE 8 to get the fit I am looking for!!!!, more shoes!!! and more work shirts and new jimjams!!!!

I dropped in on a friend for dinner and he has not yet commented about my weight (big guy himself - has a program, not in the right headspace) and his first comment when I walked in the door was - Wow you've lost more weight - you look amazing! Awwww shucks, it really does mean more when it is sincere. But I was wearing the WL pants which are now able to be taken off without undoing! So time to take them in!!!

So we chatted about the program for a while but it just re-iterated 90% headspace 10% everything else!!

Manda- end of Augie is a trip to Singapore for some serious wardrobe re-planning.

Well what a great catch up yesterday - until a woman walked into a pole in the Mall very close to where we were sitting - and then it became hilarious!!! She was fine - a little stunned but she kept walking!

So I can confirm that Nixy is norty and that Bronnie is fantastic! It was so good to see their results in the rapidly reducing flesh!!!

Great to chat with people who "get" where you have come from and where you are heading and how - and to talk about a few head issues!

And I checked out the Red Cross Shop in the Mall recommended by Bron - unbelievable, got some really lovely shirts and dresses so now just have to find more occasions to wear them - Hmmm think this means more trips to D-Town!!!

Anyhoo - it is nice to be a part of everyone's journey's no matter how long or short they are! Keep on being kind to yourself!
