er, what doesn't the Preview Button do (in between the Post & Spell Check buttons) that you want done?

Funny, I just popped back to add a comment.... As I had just made a post, used "Preview", and it still looked like "the same old text" that I'd been typing. But then, I looked UP and saw that the tail end of the preview was there, right at the top of the screen.

I'm about to hit Preview again (on THIS post) and then I'll have a damn good look around - especially up the top. Then I'll see what I see


OK - I'm done now. Had a bit of a play around. So, now I know "Preview" DOES work !!!!!


BUT - to see it, I must use the sidebar to go UP to see it (which I didn't know, and wasn't used to). Most times, it would show me only the text I'd typed. Maybe it is as simple as having an Administrator set Preview to show the TOP of the page (so that the displayed page starts at "the Preview" rather than starting down 60+ lines down the page).

That's about it in a nutshell, Baloo. It DOES work, but I need to take further action to SEE it. Whereas I thought my asking for Preview by pressing the button would have taken me STRAIGHT to it, which it doesn't.

Thanks for asking - over to you whether it is worth changing or not. At least now I know the workaround.

and Peter, it was me who gave you good karma of 18... i was clicking on "Applaud" to see if it undid the -250 courtesy of Baloo! i watched it start to head into the positives, and then decided my finger was getting sore....... there was no way in the world i was gonna click 250 times! besides Baloo had the power to fix it!
