I think the Beck solutions talks about exercising our "no" muscle, yours sounds like it got a fantastic work out! Well done!

Got a good boost this morning when I decided to measure my waist ... instead of weighing myself ... waist is 4cm smaller!! I knew I was feeling thinner and it's only been 5 days!

Gotta love Cohen's

Well, I have 1 more meal to finish off my first week back on Cohen's and I'm proud to be able to say I have stayed deviation free. I feel healthier already! Bring on week 2!!

Well done!

My detox symptoms were horrible. I had 5 days of headaches and hunger and massive skin breakouts. So glad that's over

Will you weigh at 1 week?

Poor you AZ, the detox symptoms are horrid! I was so glad I didn't have any this time around, unless of course they were masked by the flu symptoms but that was nothing like what you had.

I plan not to weigh until I reach 1 month mainly because I tend to derail myself if I have a good loss before then. I see the loss and think I can treat myself which goes overboard and I never get back to plan for another week or so ... What I do plan to do is measure myself weekly instead ... but we'll see how it goes

You aare doing so well Soon2beslim. I agree with you it is a great eating plan. Going by your ticker I now have about as much as you to loose. That is now I have got down to 91kg. Will be good to follow your journey.

Hi Mnstr

Thank you for popping into my diary and for your encouragement. The low weight on my ticker is the upper weight of my goal range so I may end up going lower than that but we'll see. Wherever we end up at the low end, we do have about the same amount of weight to lose and it will be good to have someone along with me on the journey. I haven't seen your diary, do you have one? I look forward to racing with you to the finish.

Day 8 and still going strong. Measurements reveal that I have lost 9cm so far and I managed to resist weighing myself, though I was tempted!

Bought my meat at the weekend and weighed and packaged it for easy use during the week.

So proud of myself for making it through the weekend without deviating. I should be hitting 'the zone' soon and hopefully the temptations won't be as strong!

Hi soon2bslim,

Congratulations on those centimetres lost! Great effort. You are doing a great job. Keep it up and soon we will achieve what we want.

I'm also 9 days deviation free! How good does it feel?

Thanks for popping in Chew Chew and yes! It feels great. I know the last time I did Cohens I found it really hard to stick to my plan when I kept reading about people deviating. I aim to be deviation free, after all, why prolong this part of the journey? Together we can do this and it will be interesting to compare weight loss especially having started on the same day.

Struggling a bit today and feel "restless" but have a lot of work to do so will be head down and bum up for a while. Hopefully that will stop me thinking about the lovely cake my daughter just baked for the other daughter who is out with the boyfriend unaware that he is about to propose! So exciting!

Still 100% deviation free and recently changed the vitaweet crackers I had been eating to Premiums ... mmm, love the new taste/texture.

I love the way one appreciates the flavours and smell of food when our bodies are clean, like on Cohen's.

Hi soontobslim,

Sorry to hear you are struggling abit today. Think positive and the reasons why you have made the decision to change your lifestyle. You can do anything you put your mind to.

For me I always look at my old photos and reminds me why I chose to change my life around. Look at how far you have come in 2 weeks, lots of centimetres gone forever!!!!

Stay positive and you can get through today

Great news about your daughter's soon to be engagement. It reminded me of when my partner proposed to me. It was super exciting!

ALWAYS BELIEVE THAT SOMETHING WONDERFUL IS ABOUT TO HAPPEN

Hi Chew Chew

Thanks for your encouragement. This forum is really a life saver in terms of sticking to plan. I have no intention of deviating but we all know how easily we can derail and just knowing someone is out there and understands the off days makes it that much easier to stay on track. Thank you!

Been feeling so hungry the last couple of days and find my motivation waning but I'm still 100%. Nearly 2 weeks done so the happy zone must be kicking in soon.

Hey everyone

Sounds like your all doing fantastic

I struggled this week with no wine, bread and coffee with sugar and milk. I am happy to say that finally it's day 7 and I'm deviation free.

I felt really bad through the week but today woke up feeling fantastic with no cravings or hunger. It's taken me so long to get to this part now there's no stopping me. Yay!!!

Anyway I'm still waiting on my diary approval. I can't seem to work out how to do it.

Have a nice night my cohens friends x

Good for you Swan! Have you made your diary? Only the moderators can approve your diary. They generally get on and do a huge batch at a time....be patient

Thanks for the visit and motivation Ciors. You're a real gem and I appreciate the way you've hung around to encourage us after finishing your journey.

Well done on your 7 days deviation free Swan! That's a huge hurdle you've just jumped over! You'll also be heading into the zone before you know it.

You don't have to wait for approval before you start your diary, just begin and when the moderators get around to it they will approve it. The only thing you have to do first is apply for one, which you've done.

How about setting up a ticker in your signature, it is so motivating to see the slider moving closer and closer to the end and it also helps us to see how far you've come and encourage you along the way.

Beginning of week 2 for me and still 100% deviation free. So proud of myself. Did my measurements and am down 17cm since starting. Have an appointment with my consultant this week.

Well I gave in and weighed myself - so much for waiting 4 weeks! 4kgs off so far and I'm lighter than I have been for months. I never thought I would break the 90s barrier again after all my failed attempts but I have and while my losses may be slower than some, they are still losses and I'm pleased.
