Re: Maintenance Challenge!
I think it's time to resurect this challange - myself and Greeni have reached maintenance already, and there's a whole bunch of ladies that will be joining us soon, and we all need to be accountable!
Maybe this will also motivate some old maintainers to get actively involved again. Goal range: 51kg - 55kg Week 1 - 16 Feb 2015 51.9kg |

Re: Maintenance Challenge!
Great idea N2M
I am not sure what day I will have - Friday is normally my lightest but Monday might keep me honest My goal range will be 58 - 60. The last two days, in fact all week has been not great and I have a few things on this weekend so maybe I will make Friday my day to begin with to keep me on the straight and narrow for the weekend. Re: Maintenance Challenge!
I'm happy to be in this too...not officially maintaining for another 16 days, but this would def be perfect for me to keep on the straight and narrow when refeed is done

Re: Maintenance Challenge!
Hmmmm - on second thought - I may also need to make my check in day on a Friday...
I had a wee spike this morning (+800g) since my youngest boy's b-day cake and homemade hamburgers last night (and the popcorn, glass of bubbly and last TimTam). |

Re: Maintenance Challenge!
I have decided that Saturdays will be weigh day so I don't start the weekend on Friday night and why weigh in on Monday when I eat a little more freely in the weekends.

Re: Maintenance Challenge!
21/02/15 58.7kg
Why does every 100gm feel like a kg when you are near goal. I am 300gm heavier than my lightest over the last 7 days yet it feels 3kg yet 4 years ago I wouldn't have worried about the .?? at all. WB |

Re: Maintenance Challenge!
I think Sunday might work for me - that way I have to be sensible on Friday and Saturday, and I generally don't go nuts on food or drink on Sunday before school.

Re: Maintenance Challenge!
Goal range: 51kg - 55kg
Week 1 - 16 Feb 2015 - 51.9kg Week 2 - 23 Feb 2015 - 52.7kg I still do not know which day should be my official weigh-in/accountability day, but I need to take responsibility for my actions - the weekend was waaaayyyyy to nice which saw me up to 53.6kg's on Sunday morning! I've been resetting on Sunday and today, and will see what the scales say tomorrow morning to re-asses my plan of action. |

Re: Maintenance Challenge!
28/02/15 58.7kg
No change on the scale reading on Saturday morning from last week however I had good days and some very bad days - tired therefore little will power even though I was conscience I was over eating on sweet things. Did some reset days. Wb |

Re: Maintenance Challenge!
Goal range: 51kg - 55kg
Week 1 - 16 Feb 2015 - 51.9kg Week 2 - 23 Feb 2015 - 52.7kg Week 3 - 2 Mar 2015 - 53.4 Kg When looking at the figures, it does look like the weight is slowly creeping up again, but the Monday weighing is not a true reflection as I have had reset days early in the week, and by Wednesday I'd be back in my comfort zone at around 52kgs (52.5kgs today - Tuesday). I read an article that says that women tend to lose more weight when weighing daily, but that once a week weighing in maintenance is fine. Wednesdays have been identified as the best day to weigh, and it totally makes sense to me. |

Re: Maintenance Challenge!
07/03/15 58.5kg
28/02/15 58.7kg 21/02/15 58.7kg I had another zig zag week - a couple of days which I am not proud of - binge eating in the evening of anything sweet I could find. I do know that it was due to social events that hindered my normal eating patterns, leaving me hungry and tired. I was conscience that I was eating erratically but couldn't control it. However this weekend should be better - no social events. Went to movies last night early, planning on having tea when we got home but ended up meeting up with friends and going out for tea. Had steak and salad and left the chips (ate about 4) which still saw a 700gm loss overnight. Having Saturday morning weigh in certainly helps to delay the weekend to Saturday. I am aiming to get to 57kg. Would like to reach this by end of April. WB |

Re: Maintenance Challenge!
Oh yeah...I'm supposed to weigh in! Well, not crash hot, but it's been a week of experimenting and trying to get my LCHF in proportion but it is heading down again...TOM FINALLY arrived today! So that will also help.
best refeed weight: 66.2 Sunday's weight: 70.8 |
