Hello Again!!!

OKAY! THIS IS SERIOUS!!!

I have been so bad of late. I feel like crap and I have put on a tonne of weight.

I weighed in this morning at a whopping 77.6kg. I want to be 60kg so I have my work cut out for me.

This is take 567,342 for me - or thereabouts!!!!

Please help and support me. My self-control and will-power have gone AWOL and I NEED to lose this weight.

Hey AZ

I wrote you a really long and terribly clever Reply this afternoon, but the Forum ate my homework!

If I can remember it all I will rewrite it and post it (it really was terribly clever!!)

In the meantime I have to ask you:

NEED is one thing, but do you really WANT to lose this weight?

Didn't you like being the sexy Vamp in your 60 kg photos?

Is it safer being a non-sexy AZ?

We all have lots of big and little reasons for being on the program

I just want to be able to tuck my shirt in. Yep, that just about sums it up for me. WANT to be able, to tuck - my - shirt - in.

What do you WANT to achieve?

Lotsa love
Kristine

Hi All,

So I have had a massive week of weight loss with a whopping 4.6kg in one week. That is a record for me but I'm guessing I was retaining A LOT of fluid.

Anyway - it is definitely motivation to keep going .

Hi AZ,
Wow - a quarter of the journey completed already !! Way to go....

That is a great start, and for sure it gives motivation a front-row seat eh?

I just finished typing a note in Kristine's Diary - do have a read there. It won't help you while on EP, but it could give you some clear direction once back in Maintenance (and that could be severely good, yeah?)

It talks of how some people should avoid sugars and carbs, while others should avoid fats. If you know which of these are your nemesis, it would help hugely in Maintenance.

Rock on,
Koh

Oh my goodness AZ!!!! 4.6kg in one week!! Did you have a limb removed?? That's a serious loss - well done! I NEVER get anywhere near that kind of loss in a week - what did you do? Anything in particular to achieve that kind of loss?

At this rate you'll be done in no time!

Looking forward to watching you fly through this

Thanks Koh and Louise,

In all honesty, I think it was the sugar and carbs I ate the week before I started that made me retain so much water. 4.0kg was my highest previously.

Koh - I will definitely head over to Kristine's diary and have a read. I think mine is sugar as when I did refeed last time, I didn't gain with bread. Although, rice is bad for me because of the starch.

Louise - the only thing I have done differently this time is I am eating more eggs and less yogurt for breakfast. Also, I am eating peaches and nectarines which I have never had on EP before. Other than that, not really sure.

Hi All,

Sorry for my sporadic posts. Been quite busy recently.

Anyway, weigh-in day was yesterday and after my enormous first week, my second week was slow with only 0.9kg. But, that was to be expected so I'm still pretty happy.

Onwards and downwards losers!!!

The first week on the program is really a fantastic weight loss, isnt it? But you know, a 0.9kg weight loss isnt anything to laugh either! You'll be in the 60s soon!

Thanks MM,

Hi All,

Well, I'm having another cracker week this week so I am happy to excuse the 0.9kg from last week.

I've already lost 1.8kg since Monday's weigh-in. That's 1.8kg in 4 days - STOKED!!!!

Would be nice to be in the 60's by next weigh-in. Fingers Crossed!!!

Hi All,

Week 3 weigh-in this morning!!!

Not sure what I am doing differently (other than eating less dairy) but this week was a whopping 2.3kg loss. I am totally amazed!!!! I am back in the 60's JUST at 69.8kg this morning.

I have an event (A Day on the Green - Blondie and Cindy Lauper - SO EXCITED!!!) on this Sunday so will be going off plan for the night but will be straight back on EP the next day. I probably won't have a loss for next week overall but I have been planning for this.

Anyway, hope the world is treating you all well!!!

Hi All,

Been a little while. I fell off the EP Train and failed to get back on ;/

As of yesterday, I was back up to 75.8kg. I find it quite interesting how quickly I can gain and lose weight.

Anyway, I'm back on again as of yesterday. I have a bunch of events coming up in the next few months which I need to lose the weight for and hopefully these will be motivational.

Will check out how you are all going when I get a chance to check in.

So I restarted on EP back on 8th May 2017 weighing in at 77.8kg. I am absolutely determined to get back to at least 60kg. Today, I weighed in at 71.1kg so have lost 6.7kg in 2.5 weeks.

Hoping for a big loss for this week!!!

Default Re: AZ's On EP Again

Hi All,

So only a 1.1kg for my week 3 weigh-in. It is disappointing but I am hoping for a bigger number in this next week.

Is anyone out there at the moment????

Hi AZ,
Don't discount how useful 1.1Kg is - in earlier days, we would say "Count on 1Kg a week - any extra is a bonus". As well as that, another tenet I recall is that "Those with less to lose, lose less quickly!"

Even if you only lose 1Kg a week, you'll be through EP by mid Aug. But hey, I am NOT saying that all you will lose is 1Kg either. Some weeks can be huge, with others "disappointing" - in the end, the average should still be amazing compared to "other ways to shed weight".

Stick with it AZ - you are doing yourself a power of good !!

And me? I'm a tall skinny-ish bloke (BMI ~25.5) and have been this way forever, so I haven't faced (weight-wise) what you all have !!
