Re: 2nd Week - not losing - is this possible?
Im feeling really down and doubtful today, but sure it will be better tomorrow - just gonna go through the motions today. I realise , again, that some really just needs to work harder and eat super clean in order to lose - and YES, Im one of them forever. I made my Peace with this. So I will stick woth my old plan , don't mind losing slower, just want to lose weekly and THATS whats throwing me a loop now - I will do all I can for week 3 & 4 - and then decide based on the results - Im sure there is something Im doing that is causing this, but will re-think my every move to make sure. Don't expect to lose as fast as your 1st time on Cohens - 1st time is always the quickest they say. Your results are still great and plan still makes you lose weight, just keep going. |

Re: 2nd Week - not losing - is this possible?
Hi are you drinking lots and lots of water. Very hard to lose anything if your body dehydrated.

Re: 2nd Week - not losing - is this possible?
CB1904 - Ive always been a water drinker - I do get my 2-3 litres in every day. Ive taken all the suggestions that was given by you ladies and am now making 100% sure im eating my meals the correct times inbetween each and also having my crackers with my meals instead of on its own.
Decided to do week 3 & 4 - making sure everything that I eat is on plan and correct and then I will check scale again. Also checking my scale and food scale tonight to make completely sure they are still 100% right in their readings. I might just be the odd one who loses super slow from the start, but hopefully this will balance out and my body will let go of the fat SOON! |

Re: 2nd Week - not losing - is this possible?
Hi
I find I loose much better on 3+. My guidelines say 2 -2.5 but I feel very tired and dehydrated on anything less than three. Might be different for others and you, but just sharing what seems to work for me. |

My weight has only come down 2oo grams since last week.. but your right I will keep going. and losing it slowly dosnt matter its just losing it altogether im proud of.. with all this healthy im enjoying it. Dont loose heart, on 100% Cohens you cant NOT loose, your body might resist for a while, but you will win in the end!

Re: 2nd Week - not losing - is this possible?
That's what I say - my body HAS to respond sometime - I just need to keep going. Maybe Im being tested for all my previous "diet sins"
Ive really switched my meals today and going to do the 10 day yoghurt (meal 1 ) for supper that Elaine suggested - and up my water. Keeping all posted! |

Re: 2nd Week - not losing - is this possible?
You're just pressured in losing weight. Just make it as a HABIT and not as a torture. Just be patient enough and everything will fall into its place. In time, just wait for the results.

Re: 2nd Week - not losing - is this possible?
Thx codyedwardwilliams - I agree and get what you are saying.
I did peak this morning - BAD habit and FINALLY scale moved down another 500g. So I will see at my official weigh in, but hopefully taking all the advice I got here helped and it seems like it will be moving again. But I will keep on reminding myself - the body lose weight in cycle - so looking at the 4 week picture is more realistic. |

Re: 2nd Week - not losing - is this possible?
So... just for future Cohenites who starts off slow like I did - KEEP GOING ON - DO NOT STOP DUE TO SLOW LOSS. I lost 3kgs in my first 7 days, THEN STOOD STILL for 10 days (almost went mad, BUT I carried on with cohens and all of you who helped made all the diffs!) Then lost another 2 kgs the last 4 days of my Week 3.
So I'm down a total of 5kgs the last 3 weeks and so proud and happy that I somehow find the mental strength to carry on an believe in Cohens, otherwise I would have stopped and never knew that my old plan still does work. I really hope this helps someone else. We truelly do lose weight in a cycle - a 4 week cycle. So going onto my last week to complete my 1st month of Cohens. |

Re: 2nd Week - not losing - is this possible?
That is awesome news. Well done for sticking it out. It is truly discipline to stick to your eating plan when the scales tell another story.
Your next cycle is gonna be so much smoother! |

Re: 2nd Week - not losing - is this possible?
There you go Peace! So glad you got your faith restored! If you were still at a clinic, they would have stressed that you do not weigh at home - only there and only every 4 weeks...but you're not at a clinic...and you are a female - so you're GONNA weigh every day! LOL

Re: 2nd Week - not losing - is this possible?
...... I am HOWEVER really gonna try and not weight till next Monday - end of week 4. I really like the idea of weighing every fortnight ant that is what I wanna do from month 2, but I just really needed the confirmation during my first month that my old plan will still work - which I am so happy for. I do think it goes slower, BUT I also do know that slower seems to always be more permanent, so in my mind it is actually a plus and thinking that way helps me to focus on the next day and the next and the next.

That is an excellent plan. It makes you stick to your eating habits and it makes you look forward to something big. Then the surprise is always rewarding!
