Default Re: The importance of refeed

It was stressed to me during refeed that it was important to try to eat everything (and I managed because I am a greedy little piglet), but I do understand it is not that easy for everyone.

I would try to at least try the new proteins and veges in your refeed programme, and if you think you are going to eat bread, then try that. It might be easier for you to fit more in if you swap your 3 crackers for bread (once you are allowed to).

Keep at it, and enjoy the "new" foods!

Hi Mcbell,

Thanks for your reply

I'm okay with trying all the new foods, but 4 fruits a day, 3 bread, proteins 1.5X compared to first programme.. it's really overwhelming!

I know what you mean - I was so stoked to get three pieces of fruit after rationing out 2 pieces, but when I hit four fruit, I had to go back to having yoghurt for breakfast, purposely to use up a fruit portion!!!! That was a first. And I started having a piece of fruit with my lunch or incorporated in my lunch meal to "use" it up. I soldiered on tho!
