Hi Shell,
The last time (6 weeks ago) when I went for my review at the clinic, they suggested I can consider refeed at 57kg because of my physique (big boned). So, they said they leave the choice to me whether I want to start at 57kg or push for goal weight. I'll be going to the clinic today and see what they've got to say this time. 57kg is actually about 5kg away but I don't think I want to start refeed at that weight because it wouldn't hit my goal weight and thus won't have good buffer during maintenance. Will see how my body works...if I can't stand the hunger and the pain, then I jolly well do what is necessary! My hubby is telling me to go on refeed at 60kg and then to lose the remaining weight slowly after that rather than rapidly. However, I'm very sceptical about it because I know I'm not 100% confident as yet that I can lose weight on my own without Cohen. |

Just a big happy hushpuppy I haven't "done" Cohens - Asy knows me from way back - she invited me to "take a look" here - I did, loved it, and stayed... And me? I'm a tall skinny-ish bloke (BMI ~25.5) and have been this way forever, so I haven't faced (weight-wise) what you all have !! |

Thanks for the bump Koh! My goal weight range is 52-55kg, so I am going to try to wait until I hit 54kg at the clinic before I order my refeed. Talking to my consultant today, she definitely recommends to wait to get close to your bottom goal weight (in her experience).
I hope to get to 54kg without any problems, but will be paying close attention to how I am feeling as I near my goal. |

This is really such a good topic *bump* for sure. My personal experience is try and wait it out until you cAnt take it any more. Then you are ready. That is what I will do when nearing refeed this time

Cool Blommie. I will try my best to wait it out when I get there. It must be so hard with the tempatation to eat more just there and you are within your range. I will just have to try and restrain myself and know for sure that I am ready. I have a sinking feeling it may be at the lower end of my goal 63kg rather that 66 though
