My week off has been great so far....I have been doing a bit of spring cleaning of the wardrobe

I started my cohens journey at a size 22/24 mostly 24's and now what I had of 22's are very loose. But 20's are a little tight but I reckon that its only a matter of time till the fit me.

I am going to sell whats fairly new and hardly worn on ebay....then the rest to charity. What a good feeling it was to look at my wardrobe and not have to many "FAT" clothes left!!!!!

My sisters clothes from when she lost weight are in my wardrobe waiting for me they start at size 18... Am happy not to have to spend alot on clothes in between!!!!

Going for a hot stone massage today, very excited I have never had one...one of my clients recommended it so its going to be a very nice treat!!!

Hope everyone is having a great week

Thanks to Jeannie, AJ, Angie & Mette for stopping by

Enjoy the massage miss Jenny! You definitely deserve it. And before you know it, you will have said goodbye to all the size 20-somethings, and you will never ever have to worry about them again!

Enjoy the week off, the relaxation must be doing the weightloss so much good!

Congratulations on moving down through the sizes, Jenny. I've been taking old clothes to the opp shops (very liberating, never before been confident that I wouldn't need them again) and coming out with 'new' clothes in smaller sizes.

Default WEEK 7

Hi all, my week off has been really good...oh and you have to have a hot stone massage....it was the best I will be going back for more...maybe when I get to some of my goals!!!

Well on the scales this week I hit 110.8kg.....yay!!!! So so close to my second goal. That is a loss of 1.7kg for the week. My lowest weekly weigh in so far, but my average over 7 weeks is 3.07kg per week....me no complain

Last night was my first night out with friends that involved dinner...and I was freaking out about it.... It was another friends 30th....and I may have been able to do AJs chicken nugget option...only problem was the event kicked off at 4 in the arvo with a mini buss ride up to Tamborine mountain to a georgous old english pub with very english food

So I decided that surely their would be something on the menu I could tweek.....so steak it was, on the menu it said a 300g rump so I said to my hubby that he could have about 2/3rds of my steak (very happy man) and I would just have the salad. Very happy with my choice. When it came out I thought this is going to be okay...on tasting my salad it was coated in a dressing of olive oil and a little mustard seeds I looked for all the lettuce leaves tomato and cucumber with the least olive oil.....not many!!! Any how I new I didn't eat to much as I didn't feel full, but my tummy was churning last night....to rich in oil I would say. NOTE TO SELF....CHECK IF THE SALAD HAS DRESSING ON IT WHEN ORDERING

I don't plan on making this a habit....if the event was closer to home I would just eat before hand or do the nuggets thing. So that was my ramble about last night.

I don't know how everyones cm's are going but I find most weeks theres always one problem area that more cms come off than the other areas. Does anyone else find this? I guess in the end they all catch up to each other!!!!

Hope everyone has had a good week, and thanks to everone who stops by even just for a read!!!!

Excellent loss, Jenny, even if it is your smallest so far.

Most of us have problem areas that are fatter than the rest. These are usually the slowest to lose the fat. Makes sense really, more there, it's where we add on first, so last to leave. They do slim down, but if you had a problem area when you were large it will probably still be a problem when you are small.

Mozzarella and salad is an option for the situation you described if you want to take your own food. You now know how to order if you are ordering off the menu.

Hi Jenny - here I am! I haven't disappeared!

You are SOOOOOO close to getting under 110kg I can't believe it! A huge congratulations for losing over the 20kg mark - that is massive and so exciting.

I just wrote to you in my diary explaining where I have been hiding - I have been in the deviation closet of shame!

Anyway, I won't bore you with the details, but here I am again and back on track!!

Congratulations again - I can't wait till we both get under 100kg - won't be long at all!!!!

Hi Jenny! Just checking how you're going. Good to see you're still powering on with the losses!
I'm sorry to hear you were struggling with the dinner out. At least you learned to check whether there's dressing on the salad. And your hubby must have been so happy with getting the extra meat!
I did the dinner out thing last week. I didn't have the guts to call and ask if I could bring my food, so I smuggled it in Thank god for AJ and her chicken nugget tips!

Default WEEK 8

Wow, I can't believe I have been on cohens for 8 weeks now!!!! It has been a whirlwind and am really starting to notice the difference in myself and so is everybody else!!!!!!

This week is another 1.7kg loss yay!!!!!! I have broken through 110kg I am now 109.1kg Time to go shopping for that new handbag!!!!

Have had a busy week back at work, but feeling much better about everything. I feel like I have gained a really good positive attitude with ny weight loss so far...I was feeling so negative and angry at myself for allowing myself to get that big. Now I look back at my terrible eating habits and cringe What was I thinking???? Maybe thats just it...I wasn't.

I was at a party last night and all the nibbles that I would normally pig out on didn't bother me in the slightest....I was so impressed with myself for totally avoiding them.

I was saying to my hubby the other day that the 8wks on cohens so far is the longest time that I have not had chocolate etc in my whole life.....he said he was so impressed cause I would say I neeeeeded it!!!! I laughed cause I soooo DON'T neeeeed it!!!!

I am so much stronger than I ever thought I could be and it is so much about being concious of what you do and the decisions you make. I know I will have to be this vigilant my whole life, as much as this is daunting I know its the only way to succeed at beating my former life of obesity.

Well hows that for a D & M !!!!!! I just find myself thinking alot about how I got to being that overweight.

Very excited about meeting alot of the brisbane cohenites next weekend!!!! Can't wait!!!!

Thanks to Angie, AJ, Cocopop and Mette for dropping by, all your support has been great!!!!

Have a great week

Congratulations on breaking 110 kgs, Jenny. It won't be long before you are into double digits.

You sound the way I feel. I'm not finding this diet hard, as I am simply not tempted by anything. At functions I look at the food and decide what I would choose if I was able. Previously, I would have tried everything.

Congratulations on another fantastic loss - and your new handbag - have you got it yet?

I've been thinking about my own eating, and how I gradually put on so much weight. Even though I knew, intellectually, that there was a connection between what I put in my mouth and how much fat there was on my body, I don't think I really believed, at a gut level (sorry, bad pun) that I could control my fat by what I ate. This eating program has given me the tools to do that - because the loss is so quick and directly related to what I eat - so now I do believe it and feel I can control my weight from now on. Through this program I've also started listening to my body - when it's hungry, when it's not (but I would before have eaten anyway), when it's had enough, when it's thirsty - and I know I have to make sure I keep doing that. It's a great feeling, though, isn't it, that feeling that we do have control.

Hi Jenny! I just wanted to congratulate you on hitting your 2nd goal already and to say how inspiring your diary is! Not just because you've achieved such amazing losses, but because you've managed to stay SO strong and SO focused through the business and the social outings and everything else without even a THOUGHT of allowing for deviation. I'm going to try to emulate your attitude in that respect

Enjoy your handbag reward shopping!!! I bet it will be the sweetest shopping trip ever - that is until you start shopping for the new wardrobe *grin*

You are a strong, beautiful woman Jenny! I'm so impressed that you have gotten to the point where you have beaten the need for chocolate! I've been surprised that over the last 2 weeks I haven't felt the need for it either. The only thing that scares me a little is the thought of the freedom after the program, where everything is not so black and white anymore. I hope I get to the point where you are, where I'll be able to say 'food is fuel, not a reward or a comfort'. Stay strong, and keep powering on pretty lady! You're an inspiration

Default WEEK 9

I think I am officially in love with Doctor Cohen Whatever he did to create this program he should get a medal!!!!!!

I can't believe my eyes when I just looked at the scales....another 2.2kg down this week. Never in a million years did I ever think I could say I had lost 25kg, and still more to come. This is the best motivation yet to be 100% Cohens!!!

If you have read some of my diary before I have talked about my brothers wedding which is on in about 4 weeks time up in Townsville, No one knows that I have been losing weight up there not even my dad, I reckon they are going to be a little shocked. I hope that I will be in double figures by then and size 18's.....very acheivable at this rate. Mind you I am always prepared for a slower week on the scales. So I will take it as it comes, I think I will only hit the shops a week or so before the wedding, my size is changing fairly rapidly....very exciting

On the work front we hired a new male hairdresser this week, he worked with my business partner & I 5yrs ago when we were all working for someone else. He actually approached us for a job, and funnily enough we were just about to advertise for someone..... I think he will be a great asset to our business and maybe next year I can think a bit more about doing a few less hours as this 45-50hr weeks for the last five years is wearing thin I tell ya!!!!

Oh I forgot to mention my new handbag.....I found one I love it and the best part I got it 1/2 price.... never normally would have spent the full price amount so I felt great with that purchase!!!!!

Thanks to AJ, LIM, Lullabelle and Mette for dropping by you are all so lovely and I hope to have dropped in all your diaries soon!!!

Well off to do my measurements...

Am meeting with a few other cohenites today at Carindale should be great!!!!

Have a great week JennyC
