I am now in my 11th week and find that yesterday and today I don't have much of a appatite. I really have to force my food down. I am not complaining though as it is better than being hungry. Yesterday we had such a lovely day in SA. Cannot believe it is the middle of winter and we could still sit outside a braai (barbeque) but today is cloudy and cold again.

I weighed myself this morning and I seem to not have lost anything since Saturday. I hope I am not hitting a plato . That would not be nice. I have started to swop my meal 1 and 3 around and will see on Saturday if this helps. I really hope so.

Hi Carrieanne, I have not bought one single new item of clothing yet. I still had some clothes from a few years back when I was skinny but I will have to go and buy new winter clothes soon. Cannot wait!!

This diet is so amazing. Weighed myself this morning and I am down 0.6grams. Yeah. From now on I am only going to weigh myself on a Saturday as I should. Still don't have much of an appetite but I am forcing the food down and the water.

Oops, silly me, I meant 0.6kg . Thanks Carrianne.

I had a really hard weekend . Did not deviate at all but was craving all kinds of things that I should not be and this morning I was not even hungry. Had to force my yogurt down. Anyway decided that I am going to make a chicken loaf for lunch for a change. If there is one thing I have learnt on this diet is that you have to use different recipes otherwise you will get sick of the same food all the time. I have come such a long way and worked so hard on this diet that I refuse to give in to any temptation. We visited friends this weekend and they tried so hard to get me to drink but I just refused. Funny how "friends" see how well you are doing but try everything to sabatage you. Luckily my will to be thin is stronger than my will to cheat .

I am in week 12 now and will weigh on Saturday. Cannot wait. I will definately have to do another 2 rounds of 12 weeks as I lose 1kg per week and still have about 18kg to lose. I should reach my goal by the end of October.

yes you can!!!!You are so good for being so strong. You will be at your goal before you know it. I bet you will be able to finish in 16 weeks -That would mean losing 1100 grams each week. If you look at it that way it seems less difficult to acheive right? Any hooooo, you're gonna get there.

Unhappy Re: Roxy's Diary

It is just not my day today. This morning I woke up with a hard, big swollen red mark on my face . I hope it is not a spider bite as they can get quiet ugly. It is not very sore but looks as if someone gave me a big smack right on my cheeck bone. I really hope it is not serious and that I will need medication. Hopefully it goes away in a day or 2. I am trying a new hairstyle and I just could not get it right this morning and my pants look like a clowns pants they are so big. I suppose the last one is not that bad as it means I am losing weight!! Yeah !!!

Okay, enough moaning for one day. Going to make breakfast now. I am having egg and mushrooms.

Poor little lamb, I would do a hot compresses to draw out any poison and rub it with a fresh garlic clove. Then slap some ice on it to see if the swelling goes down. I hope you are better soon, or we start to call you spider lady.

Mmm, that is if it was a spide. I just don't know. It seems less red than this morning but is still swollen and still the same size. I now also have one on the other cheek but much smaller and not swollen. Weird, very weird .

thanx for poppin in my di, I am fine now, no need to be bad any more-back at work and into routine- How is your splotch? I am off to take a walk now during my break. Be strong with the chips, you'll be able to have them again soon enough-and you probably won't even want them. On my last day of evil deviation I had some Dorito type nachos-smelled great tasted like nasty processed hard flour-with gummy fake cheese-you're not missing any thang. big hug

Thanks for the encouragement carrieanne. The blotch is still there but the swelling has gone down. I think my skin is very dry so I have started putting bio oil on. Hopefully this will help.

Last night, for the first time ever, I had Ostrich meat. It was delicious but unfortunately here in SA, very expensive. Luckily there were 5 steaks, each weighing exactly what I need, how's that for luck, and I still have 3 in the freezer. Looking forward to having it again.

I have a big challenge coming up. My partner is turning 40 on 20 July and I am giving her a big party on 25 July. I have rented a hall and have caterers etc. I have already decided that I am NOT going to deviate at all. The one thing I am excited about is that my partner said she will buy me a new outfit, from top to toe, for the party. Cannot wait to see what size I will fit into and what the people are going to say. I will post some photos in my album after the party.

Stay strong everyone!!

So where is the challenge? If you have decided not to deviate don't! OHHHHH, I know what the challenge is you have to go ramming around the shopping centers for the outfit? I went to a fab party catered bbq a few weekends ago, I had about 20 glasses of tea and a few slices of cucumber had a good time. You can always recelebrate on that vaycay you have planned in october and she won't have any more fun on her b-day if you down a beer or eat the cake.

I bet by then you will be a 12-14, exciting. Take care and don't stress. Start window shopping now, try on things that are too small and then you will have such a rush when you go back and buy it and it fits just a few days before the party. Or buy something too small to wear to the party so that if you are tempted, the item of clothing would be tight enough to restrict your movement and not allow you to pick up anything off the table. LOL big hug! from your favorite friend in Spain

Hello my favourite friend from Spain

I am not so worried about the food but more the drinks. I have already made my mind up not to cheat so I definately won't. It is just difficult sometimes to watch others eat and drink what they want and I can't....that said....the compliments far outway the will to cheat . Yip, I will go to the shops and see what size I am now. This morning I have a red long pants on that was tight 2 weeks ago, guess what, it is now to big. I will just have to go and buy one or two pants and tops....I really now have nothing to wear....will have to go to a cheap shop, for now.

My blotches are also better this morning. I have been putting Bio Oil on and it is definately helping. I think it was dry skin....don't understand the swelling but that has also gone, so luckily nothing serious.

On Saturday is my 12 week weigh in. Cannot wait. I have now resigned myself to the fact that I only lose 1kg per week. I have tried to swop my meals around, drink more water, go for walks and nothing changes. Don't get me wrong I am not complaining.....I am happy with the 1kg .

Hey Roxy,

You are coming down the Cohen path very nicely and smoothly. Don't have to envy others what they can eat and you can't. Change your mindset that you've eaten them before which is why you can't eat them now but you can surely eat them again later... so there's no hurry to want to deviate. Being on course thus far is not easy and you don't want to deviate and give up which might become difficult to return on course. All the BEST!

Hi Roxy!!!!!

Saw your pics you look so happy with your skinny waist line, we are allowed the same amount of crackerage(5) its just that I have found these great ones that are almost see through, with only a slight taste of cardboard that weigh 4gs 4g times 7 is 28g, so less than the 5x5.85 =29.25. Wow, are we allowed to talk about that on here? heeheee, I hope I don't get in trouble.

I am glad splotch is going bye bye, glad to hear about your red pants. NOW, get the cheap shop and buy something that is too tight at the rate your going it will be to big in no time- but not so tight that it gives camel toe. YOu know my motto= "Just say no, to camel toe." check back with you later hugs

Glad to report that my "blotches" have gone, yeah!! My face is looking fantastic since starting the Bio Oil.

Tomorrow is my 12 week weigh in. Cannot wait. I don't expect to lose as much as I did in my first two months but I will be happy with any loss.

It is very cold here in SA this morning and the whole weekend is going to be like this. Think we will have to get DVD's and stay in bed with the electric blanket on. Yeah. Will report my weight loss on Monday!! Hope everyone has a stunning Cohen weekend!!

Talking Re: Roxy's Diary

Well, what a surprise. I lost 1.2kg last week !! Yeah, first time I have lost more than 1kg so I am very happy. Have now lost a total of 17.3kg in 12 weeks, which is fantastic for me. I feel fantastic and motivated.

Thanks for popping into my diary Flamie. I know I must not worry what other people eat, it is just hard sometimes but don't worry, I will not deviate , it is just not worth it. I am actually so scared to deviate because I am scared I won't get back on track again, so I will stay deviation free until the end .

Had a great weekend, just cold and yesterday I was very hungry. I think it is the cold weather and I had yogurt for breakfast and then cottage cheese and cucumber for lunch. A persons body wants warm food in the cold weather . Anyway stuck it out and this morning I had egg and mushrooms for breakfast.

Oh, by the way my BMI is below 30 for the first time in years. This diet is just FANTASTIC!!!

That is great Roxy, you should make yourself some soup if your cold, cukes and cottage cheese are for summer. It is supposed to get up to 28 today here.

At this rate you re going to reach your goal by September. How is it going with the World -cup down there? Boy was my husband mad when USA beat Spain, heehee I told him that everyone can have an off day.
