Wonderful!!! My weight today morning was 69kg. I'll update my progress every other day
Unfortunately I'm a chronic weight checker - averaging 3 times per day

Hi Crystal

Jeesh I'm glad someone is the same as me! I never mentioned it, but I too am an obsessive compulsive weigher I weigh every morning and every evening, if I had a scale at work, I would definitely weigh at lunch too. It doesn't discourage me at all, quite the opposite. It keeps me motivated and I know my body so well, after I weighed in the evenings I can tell what I will be weighing more or less the following day

Anyone reading this.....don't do as we do.... This is working for us, it might not work for you.

Some interesting article about water. I had sparkling water all day yesterday, could see the difference on the scale. Not good. Will not opt for that again...

Have a nice day.

Oops my bad! I stuffed up on my starting weight. It's 108.4 kgs - here I am thinking that I lost 3kg in 3 days! LOL! I wish it's not that easy. I don't know where the other number came from though - too weird. Anway, enjou the rest of the week and weekend. Happy losses to all!
Hugs

Hi V Sexy

my clinic told me no sparkling water. alternatively you can have it as 1litre a day (so instead of diet soda). She says because it causes water retention. I was bleak about this because i find it easier to drink my quota if its fizzy so I had to ditch the fizz. If you do have a change in the scale it will go soon just drink more to get the water retention sorted out. x

Hi Tes,

I'm luckily not a soft drink fan, but in the past sparkling water would make my visits to the ladies room more frequent, but when the scale shocked me, I immediately suspected the water might be the cause, I've googled it and was not surprised to see that it contains 11 times more salt, reason for the retention at least I know, imagine I've done this on Sunday It would have really stuffed up my aura for the week

Must say, scales almost back on track this morning, phew...

Have a nice day, thanks for the input, it is always welcome

Hi Andie

What a nice or not, mistake to make! Hehehe that's cool, at least you saw it.

Good luck, I stuffed my weigh loss up with sparkling water, will have to be even more vigilant if I want to have a positive figure on the scale on Monday.

Cudos Vexy

I didn't know about sparkling water having that effect on someone. Interesting. I am hoping the scales move on Monday and for the better or the punching bag gets a hammering! LOL!

Thankyou Andie.
I need your guys opinions. From the beginning of the year my weight loss was a role coaster. I was up and down and didn't lose weight. Its really a struggle for me. I did cohen 2 years ago and it went so effortless and quick. NOW, I cant get myself to start and stay on it. Every weekend there's something on and cant get my head right. Me and my husband are going on vacation 14 September for our first anniversary. I want to be on goal and be finish with my refeed before then. It will give me 17 weeks then minus the 3 weeks for refeed. Therefore I need to lose 1.5 or more a week to do that. Is it possible??

Hi Skinnytobe. My humble opinion, I think you have to consistently stay on plan and be in a good head space to get back on this train. Whilst you can achieve rapid weight loss, one deviation can see a rapid weight gain and set you back up to 2 weeks. So, motivation and willpower become necessary to make decisions about whether or not you give in to the temptation. Let's unpack your struggle in more detail, what are you finding challenging? Is it weighing your food, cooking separate meals for you and hubby, are you emotional about something that sees you head for the fridge, are you just hungrier because of the detox phase - I can go on darling. My suggestion is that you have an honest conversation with yourself and this should give you a bit more info about where you are at and what you might need to do to rectify it! Hope this helps. Hugs Andie

Dear Skinny to be,

I'm with Andie on this one, you will only succeed if your focus is in the right place. The programme works but you need to be in it to win it. As with any project you will need a detailed plan, myself have very busy and social weekends, but I plan my meals so well nobody even notices that I eat differently. If I'm dining out I opt for a Greek salad without any condiments and I usually take half of it home. For the drinks I will normally order a wine glass with Ice and a caraffe with water, it looks cool and everyone guess what's in the glass. If they don't I don't care.lol

Have a nice day.

Vexy

Thankyou andie and vexy. Andie I think the main problem is that I board. If i'm board I want to eat. The other thing is come to think of it, when I eat with people, im always worried what kind of questions im going to get tonight about the why's and what about my eating program. I don't want to explain myself every time. If we have a party then its fine I can say I already ate, but if we sit at a dinner table it is not nice to pack out your cohen food. vexy, I want your tips on how people don't even notice you have your cohen food. As im typing this I realise that I don't have an excuse. If you guys can do it, so can i. My hubby actually said he will do it with me if it will help me.

Have a nice day
