You look fantastic, Faithy. Difficult to reconcile that happy woman with the tears you described.

Back again to do it all over again, starting from exactly the same weight as last time.
My health is not good and my doctor is predicting all sorts of nasty things if I don't lose weight.

Back again for the support. Still think the diet and the forum are the best ever, but too old to do it again. Now losing again slowly on maintenance diet. Ticker shows next intermediate goal only (5 kilos).

LOL I know AJ... weird huh...

Koh.. You've made me cry.. actually I cried last night too.. you guys are all so awesome.. but Koh, it means SOO much to me that you're so excited for me.. I can feel it & it means so much.. I just cant describe to you how important you being there for me has been to me.. someone you dont even really know.. You're so amazing..

It's not really sinking in I dont think.. everyone around me is asking me if I've realised what I've done, what I have achieved.. and I can honestly say NO.. I have NO idea.. it's all so surreal.. I know that to me the battle feels like it's only just about to begin.. I've done the easy part.. I know that probably sounds quite weird but when you think about it it's not.. sure it's been tough at times.. but I just quite simply followed the letter 100%.. I'm sure the re-feed will be much the same.. follow it 100% (guess I'll know when I get it LOL).. but then what..

I know I'll have those triggers, those cravings.. the emotional side of food that I know is still lurking there in the back corners of my brain.. For now I push them aside.. I now need to keep them there or boot them out the door..

I see images of myself & believe it or not in some pics I think I still look fat.. I know I have to work on that too.. cause I also know that in reality I have bones sticking out where I never knew I had them (LOL)

Anyway to ALL of you who have followed my journey so far.. thank you SOO incredibly much.. and Koh.. dont you EVER change.. YOU my friend are the most precious gem of all..

HUGE HUGSSS XXX

I'm sure I've read on here that 6Kg is one clothing size. Now, I'm not sure, as MOST "sizes" seem to go up/down in 2's - I RARELY read of "Size 11" or "Size 9" - I think "a clothing Size per 6Kg" is usually accepted as "2 clothing Sizes per 6Kg". Or, would that be "1 clothing Size is 3Kg"?

Anyway, I THINK I'd be right in going with the accepted norm - if anyone can comment on this, please do.....

So, how's this for a "Faith calendar" (I think you said you are around size 18 now - and that your weight loss is steady at 6 - 7 Kg per month):-

Early Dec - Size 16
Early Jan - Size 14
Early Feb - Size 12
Early Mar - Size 10
Early Apr - Size 8 (and at refeed?)

Umm - I don't think we should go too much lower - otherwise you'll be shopping in 10 year old girls' shops

Keep on doing it 100% for you and that is your future, girl - and you've created it all for yourself by your dedication to the program (and WHAT a program, eh? Cheers to Santa).

As Andy would say - you are a true blue champion, and such an inspiration,

Koh

I know exactly what you mean about having done the easy part, Faithy. I feel exactly the same way. The diet and refeed are just a matter of following the rules exactly. For the rest of our lives we have to follow a set of guidelines, and we can include all those foods that got us to the point where starting Cohen's was the only solution. We will have to take one day at a time for the rest of our lives.

hello faithy-

we do not know each other. today is my day one. you have been so kind to post in my diary and i offer the same kindness right back at you.

OMG. what you have done is mind blowing. i have tears in my eyes, just thinking about how far you have come and how quickly and WOWOWWOW!

please be kind and gentle with yourself.

you are brand new in a way, too. (brand new to your body and how you fit into this 'smaller' world.)

just a smaller, brand newbie. be brave. you can do this, all of this and you are so, so worth it.

i am in awe of your journey. thank you

i read in your first post that you did not think you would make it to goal by your birthday in may.

well, i'd like to wish you a happy birthday, a bit early.
you have already given yourself the best pressie EVER.

Ya know I reckon that by the end of the show our Mr Denton would have a bit of a crush on the lovely Miss Faithy

After all guests of her calibre, determination and outstandingly georgeous demeanour are few and far between!

Hope you are travelling along smoothly Faithy, thinking of you!

Only 2 kg left at the end of your ticker, Faithy. Seems no time since that was 10 kg. You are such a determined woman.

Andrew Denton!!! LOL..

Anyway.. got me thinking all this celebrity talk.. I dont know if I mentioned that I've been asked to write a testimonial that 'might' be published.. I need to think long & hard about what I'm going to write.. I think of this as HUGELY important as it may help MANY people.. as it did me..

I got my re-feed today & I'm going to start it tomorrow.. I'm kind of bummed but I just cant wait.. I'm really struggling... so I think rather than do something really stupid in my insane hunger.. I'll start it now.. Hopefully the other 2 kilos will fall off during my re-feed..

I am confused on one thing.. but I guess I'll start up a re-feed diary & hopefully someone can help me there ..

I had my first perm part time hours worked in MY new store today.. I just LOVED it.. it felt like home, so I feel REALLY good & I know I made the right choice..

Funny thing happened to me yesterday.. I was in Myer & I saw an old friend of mine who works there.. she's quite high up.. anyway she didn't recognise me for AGES LOL.. anyway after chatting for a while she offered me a job there.. whenever I want it.. so if things dont work out where I am at least I have that to fall back on.

Ohhhhhhh.. I'm meeting someone from here on Saturday.. can hardly wait :P

See, its all working out for the best - as these things tend to. Isn't it amazing how worked up we get over something and then afterwards it doesn't seem like such a big deal and most times something really good comes out of it. Gawd, did that make sense?

I will devouring every word on your refeed diary!!

Enjoy yourself

Irene
