Thanks Koh for the diary
I doing well on the programme, had a very small deviation last friday, and am beating myself black and blue over it. My wt loss has stalled for the past 5 days.
it is senseless to deviate when the wt loss is fantastic.
Am going to stick to my diet no matter what.

That's it Sangi! 100% all the way!

Don't bother beating yourself up over any past deviation/s, just put all your energy into making sure there are no more!

I am doing really fine on the programme. Had a hectic week and was really surprised i managed it very well.Didn't feel hungry or tired. People have begun noticing my weight loss.Yesterday i met a friend in the supermarket and she just went by me without a hint of recognition. i called out to her and her eyes just popped out and she exclaimed i had lost a lot of weight. it was a great feeling.
Tomorrow i am going to the Parents' Support Group Meeting after 3 months.Am not sure if i want to talk about the programme yet if people ask me what i'm doing to lose wt.i want to reach my goal weight and then spread the message.
I walked into a clothes sale at a local mall and picked out some jeans and blouses. they don't fit me very well now but am sure they will in due course. I havn't been so confident in a while now.
I don't sweat much and have more energy and most of all don't feel sleepy during the day.
I've also noticed that the inch loss is more than the Kg loss.

No wonder Doc Cohen doesn't call it a "diet" - sounds like a "way of life" to me - rock on Sangi....

Yep - we use cms, but a "rough average" for many is 3 cms less per Kg lost. Since an inch is 2.5 cms, this would mean you would lose a few more inches than Kgs over time.

But hey, it is "rough" for many reasons - some measure way more points than others (so their size losses are far more than x3) There are MANY things that impact - but, yeah, I know where you are coming from with that statement, and I agree.

Awesome to hear that you're seeing so many positive changes in your body other than you losing weight And oh, I prefer inches lost more than kgs lost! Who cares how much I weigh as long as I can fit into those size... 4 jeans! (I don't haha)

Hiyo!

2nd Attempt: Started on 10th March 2010. Lost 9.2kg.

Yes to sleep more, sip water not pour it down your throat (reminder for myself!) and

DO NOT DEVIATE.

Happy Loosing to US all
PS: Thought I should add that I had a very unhealthy lifestyle prior to getting on Cohen the second time. So probably a good 2-3kg is water. I actually started Cohen with a sore jaw because I ate so much th day before.

Hi Slimliz,
Yes you should do the diet.It has given me a whole new perspective of weight loss.I used to exercise 5 days a week, and haven't lost as much, instead ended up with a slip disc. Not that i'm against exercise. it's just that exercise is for heart health and not to lose wt.
I am very close to the 80's now and i feel great.went for my third blood test today. and the lab technician commented on how good i looked.
My family is also more motivated and aware of what they put in their mouths now and that's a bonus.
So go ahead and do it you will never regret

I have learnt to be patient and weigh myself only once a week . i used to be obsessesive abt weighing myself and did it every morning, only to realise the wt goes up and down during the week b4 it stabilises at the end of the week. this led to many a heartbreak.
No more of that nonsense now. Weighing in only on monday mornings and enjoying and cherishing what i see on the scale .

Congrats Sangi! How wonderful that you are motivating your family to eat healthy as well. It certainly rubs off on them especially when they see how great you look!

My clothes are becoming loose or rather i'm shrinking. and friends have started to comment.i have to find a tailor to alter them amd head down to the mall for some cheap buys. i don't want to spend too much as i will have ro replenish them again in a few weeks.
WOW That's what i call a GOOD problem.

I wouldnt spend too much on the tailor at this stage as that would be a never ending expense! A lot of people go to the op shops to buy some cheap clothes until they get to goal and know they wont have to hand them on 3 weeks later, but as you say, what a wonderful dilemma!!

It has happened to me too. My weight has stalled since last week .Infact i've gained another 100gms.
I have been following the programme to the T. maybe i've not had enough water,as last week had been quite hectic and i didn't really keep track of my water intake.
Maybe it was the Coke zero.My first can since the beginning of my programme.
Hope the situation improves b4 friday as it is my official weigh -In at the clinic.
