Re: SHOW PONIES RACE TO THE FINISH LINE
Have corrected my "mistake" and my humble apologies to Pen for getting her numbers wrong, sorry i cant count! Pen maybe just tell me each day, any overnight loss and total loss since day one, saves me the "rithmeetik!" By the way Still awaiting 100% no deviations - commitments from : SMS, Bibabs, Shell, Sharon/losing - so "technically" they are NOT in the race until they pledge agreement to abide by this rule of entry! Come on guy and girls show us what you are made of!! So, all results in for today and we have Pen as the outstanding number one show pony based on total of 500 grams lost overnight! Lets see what tomorrow brings! And i am still awaiting some legend to give me the maths on how to work out % weight loss! And Em you can suck up and be nice to be all you like! And as for Irene, its not that she is my "favorite" but guess what? I am just waiting for her to let me know when she is free to get together with ME so we can plot and plan and scheme a bit, two show ponies together, nothing to beat it! Until tomorrow! |

Re: SHOW PONIES RACE TO THE FINISH LINE
Sorry I must have missed something!!!
1. If you join in the race I would imagine that the 100% committment and no deviation is a given? 2. I am always going to be late it is now 11.00 am I get to the office at 8 am ( most of your day is gone then...I am in Sunny South Africa remember? So if you check my posting time you can work out the time difference You guys are about 8 hours ahead of me Ok all that aside, I AM 100 % committeed and I have been deviation free for about 10 days already, ( one deviation in 22 days.. and that was not weighing lettuce leaves!!!) Ok all my toys are out my cot now So the rest of my day will be OK.

Re: SHOW PONIES RACE TO THE FINISH LINE
I swear a lot occasionally, but I don't think you all want me swearing here do you?
Okay, I hereby state unequivocally that I will remain 100% deviation free between the start of this hoss race and reaching the finishline/refeed. Course I've been 100% deviation free since day one of the program anyway. Sorry about the late posting but I had to work today and I'm in the middle of annual Audits for 6 Pty Lte companies. (HR & Finance Mgr). Was kinda hard getting a break (it's actually after 6 pm now but I though I check in before catching the bus home (another 2 hr ride). I'll paste a few more rides for some of the gals if they want 'em once I get home tonight.

Re: SHOW PONIES RACE TO THE FINISH LINE
Good luck to all the Show Ponies. Well done on making the comittment to yourselves and to each other.
To my knowledge the % calculation is 100 / by starting weight, multiplied by amount lost. For eg: 100 / 69.6 x 5.5 = 7.9% loss Hope this helps. Lauren

Re: SHOW PONIES RACE TO THE FINISH LINE
Quote:
100 / 84.6 x 14.6 = 17.25% 100 / 70. 0 x 14.6 = 20.86% The only way to even out the score is to use a percentage lost of the weight remaining to be lost - we are measuring percentages not actual weights. so if your final sprint weight to lose is 14.6 kg and you lose 5 kg then the percentage is 100 / 14.6 x 5.0 = 34.25% or if your final sprint weight to lose is 12.0 kg and you lose 4.11 kg then the percentage is 100 / 12.0 x 4.11 kg = 34.25% That way everybody has the same race without regard to their actual starting weight (which in my case is much higher and my ending weight is also much higher as well) do the calculations and see what I mean....
