It's so liberating to give away the too big clothes, Lindy. Most of us have had several sizes in clothes, and have moved up and down wearing the current size, and keeping the bigger sizes expecting to need them again sometime. With Cohen's we come to the realisation that we won't be needing the big clothes again.

Congratulations on reaching the halfway point, Lindy! That's excellent! And it's great that you're starting to give those big clothes away. I'm still holding on to mine for some silly reason.
I'm glad you and your son are feeling better too. I hope the scales are kind to you again this week!

Thanks for calling in guys.

Well no movement for the last four days now which is weird as it has also been that lovely time of month. Weird because I kept dropping good amounts daily and then nothing. So I am sure that my body is catching up from the last week and hoping that I will have a great loss in the next couple of days. I do feel lighter even if the scales are not showing it.

Up until getting sick I was baking like a mad woman possessed. I don't know why but cakes, cookies anything really. I have realised that soon the hubby and kids will be getting heavier so I have decided to spend some of that energy in finding some new receipes that are low fat and low carb for like after Cohens.

Just compiling a few now and thought that I would start trying them out on the kids so that we all keep eating really well.

Well thats all from me off to check in on a couple of diaries. Have a great week everyone !

Hi Lindy,

I too have been baking like a woman possessed. I think I have become a 'feeder'. Weird.

Funny isn't it.....I do and have always liked to cook.....but I am seriously baking everything. I have even decided that I am baking biscuits for xmas this year for presents for the kids teachers etc I am thinking that this is going to have to change.

Yes, undoubtedly your body is catching up, Lindy. Funny how many people start baking as they drop weight. Healthy for the kids sounds the way to go. You don't want them having to do Cohen's one day.

Hi all,

Well I have been busy but good and thought that I would quickly make a note in my diary for those that are wondering what is happening with my ticker at the minute.... As luck (yes luck for me) would have it I am not as short as I have thought in the past.

I was home alone when I started Cohens and measured my height myself and I thought that I was shorter than I actually am.

Hubby and I were chatting last night about the program and how the goal weight range etc is set and we realised that I a little taller (7cm actually)....So.....I have adjusted my goal weight to reflect the change

Yay !! It is really great as now I have less than 5kilos to loose and can see myself finishing well before my birthday in Novemeber which is even better. Happy day all round really.

Hope everyone has a great week.

That's awesome! Not long to go now at all.

Baking is great - I'm sure your kids dont mind being the taste testers one little bit!

I don't know how you do it. The smell of the baking would likely be enough to make me want to cry hehe

YAY! Less than 5 kilos to go! That's awesome! That's gotta give a bit of extra motivation! I hope you're done by your birthday, that'll be a true celebration!

Hi all...

thanks for popping in....Mette I can't believe that you just have numbers beside your mango's and don't have those happy little fruits dancing on their own.... Congrats for collecting another one

My losses have slowed again but I am still heading in the right direction which is great. The happy hormornes are in full swing and I have been just so happy. (Can't you tell ha ha)

I am so looking forward to this weekend - the weather is looking good - I am so happy right now I have even thought about swimwear shopping Who actually likes going shopping for new swimmers ? Anyway it is a thought and I will have to sooner rather than later given the kids are at me to go to the beach and we are only a block away so it is not like I can avoid it.

Well I do hope everyone has a great SAFE weekend. If you are travelling this long weekend take your time and get there safely. Bye All !!

I put numbers beside it because if I have all of them there, the forum doesn't allow me to put smileys in posts! And I like smileys in posts! Have fun getting swimwear and looking gorgeous at the beach! And have a safe weekend too!

You are very close to refeed now, Lindy. I hope you will be there in plenty of time to refeed and enjoy your birthday.

Sorry Aj for not updating.....I have been a little busy lately

I have been checking out your refeed diary which has been great and getting a little excited as I know that the time is near. I have stopped weighing myself daily and have gone to weekly - which suits me. I am more than likely going to order refeed next week so...getting very excited to be almost finished the first section.

Currently debating when I will order the refeed and also what sort of exercise I will start up again once I finish the program. It is all very exciting at the minute as I do believe that all things going well I will complete this just before my birthday and well before xmas which was what I originally wanted.

I have been clothes shopping these past two weeks which has been great fun. I can't believe that I am back into size 8 mainly with a couple of size 10 tops. Bra shopping has been quite funny but still great fun.

Still have to get some more dresses and I have not yet found new swimmers but this will have to be done soon...very soon. It is pretty hard to avoid the beach when you live as close as I do.

Anyway I will try and pop in on a few other diaries tomorrow as I have things to do.....have fun and have a great weekend everyone.

I can't believe how close you are to goal, Lindy!! And how good is shopping for smaller clothes! You must be tiny! A size 8! I can't even imagine getting into size 12 jeans, let alone 10! And you're an 8! You're a star, Lindy!

Ahh....Mette that is what happens when you mutli task. (sometimes) But yes congrats to Lulabelle she is also doing a fantastic job

Well I have been so so busy which has been great fun and we are coming up to Christmas which is one of my most favorite times of year. I have been busy with the pressie shopping as most of my family has birthdays that fall between now and Xmas as well.

The best part of all is now that I have the "Cohen's baking like a woman possessed bug" I can bake for birthday's and Xmas biscuits treats the list is endless. (Have also moved into buying cookbooks as well...not that I need any more )

Anyway I am also nearing the end of Part 1 and moving into refeed...or at least I keep telling myself this. I ordered it mid last week - hoping that it will arrive in todays mail as I am getting some of the signs now but am trying to hold off for as long as possible.

I am at the top of my weight goal at today but would like to drop some more before I start refeed.

Feeling fantastic though went shopping yesterday for some more clothes which has been so much fun and the update on the dress is that yes it fits just fine ( a little looses ontop but passable ) and whilst I could still get away with it I am thinking that I might be passing it on to someone else and buying myself a new one or two....we will see

Well that's it for me I think for now have a great week / people!

I can't believe I did that! I'm so sorry Lindy! I'll fix! It started with an L...
Must've been too early in the morning! Or I'm losing my mind... Then again, I think that went a looooong time ago!

Ordering refeed... Wauw... I dream of that day! So glad the dress fits too! Although I like the idea of buying more!

You've really blitzed this, pretty lady!

Hi Lindy,
I hope you get your re feed soon.
It is very weird about the baking "obsession" isn't it.
Have a good day
