Happy new year everyone!
I saw the new year in at a lovely party, where I did not go near the cocktails that were quite literally free and on tap and I do love cocktails. I drank my caffiene free diet coke all night! It was an L party and I went as Lara Croft Tomb raider. The people at the party often only see me once a year and everyone was very impressed with my weight loss. When they asked me how long I had been dieting, my bf said just 2 weeks to fit into the costume -lol.

Ive just had a lovely afternoon in the garden and am nicely tired, just put my togs on for a swim, but now Im in the airconditioning not sure if I still need one!

Snugglebear, the deck is all done , Im thinking about making a coffee table for it now! That 700gms you gained at xmas should be gone in no time!

AJ, thank you for your encouragement, It will be much easier once I am back in work mode- who would think I would be looking ofrward to work!

Deedee, Im glad you had a lovely xmas, I look forward to our next catch up!

Tess it is hard to catch up with all the diaries, thank you for taking the time to visist mine.

Mette, you and I are certianly neck and neck, lets hope we both get there very soon!
Loulou, I am really looking forward to refeed, I thought I would be there by now, but Im not going to stress out about life events that sometimes get the way fo good intentions
Princess S and Polly thank you for your words of encouragement, I hope Mette and I are in refeed together very soon!
Kath, parttime work is lovely I have done it, but must admit I do prefer the fulltime wages!

I might have a quick look at few diaries, then either swim or go and do something productive. have a great day everyone!

Hi Louise!!

I just got back from the coast today so popping in to see how you are going.

I'm happy to hear your surgery went well and you had a nice quiet Christmas, it is good you weren't set back too much by the surgery and are back on Cohens...I'm with you there as well Little bit too much alcohol and nibbles etc over my holiday and New Year has seen me put on 2kg which I am determined to lose starting tomorrow so I'll be 100% on plan again for a week or 2 right along with you.

Bye Lara...Oh I mean Elle...or is it Mimi? hehe

It's funny, being away from work is never as fun as it sounds. It gets boring very quickly!

I really do hope we'll reach refeed together! It would be nice with the company and and the extra support in the refeed diary section Lots of skinny thoughts!

Good morning everyone. Had a nice evening last night went to dinner and a movie. Hogs breath was good for dinner as they do lite servings so you can just get a small piece of grilled chicken with a salad (just have to avoid the chips.) We saw Marley and me, a lovely movie for all animals lovers. My BF said to me last night that he didnt want me to lose anymore weight and he thought I was just perfect the way I was. Its funny having to explain the reason that you still need to lose a little more and do refeed.
I did my measurements this morning and I have dropped 3cms, which is great considering I have not lost any weight since the surgery. However Im expecting to start to drop again over the next few days!
I always have egg in the morning, but bought some yoghurt yesterday, I really enjoyed it, just plain without even any fruit.
Ive been going though a cd of photos my mother took recently, I must say it is such a different experience getting my picture taken now that the results are not so scary!

Mette I hope we will be refeeding together, I fell like Im definitely back on track and cant wait to get to the end of this, Ive dillydallied long enough!
Suzie, I hope you enjoyed your christmas, the good this is that you know exactly what is needed to lose those 2kgs and I bet they are gone in no time, some may just be fluid.
Ellabelle, thank you for the good wishes, well I dont have to make the usual lose weight resolution, well just a couple of kgs, its nice to be in that position for a change!
Ren, thnak you, refeed here I come, shouldnt be long now!

Only 3 more days before I return to work, I need to enjoy them!
Its raining here great for the plants I just put in the garden yesterday, Ive just been down the deck admiring the garden and looking to see if they have grown yet - lol- no just part of enjoying the garden, looking rather than always sweating and working!

I hope everyone is back on track after any christmas indiscresions and seeing their scales drop for them! Though I notice most have been pretty good over christmas - I applaud you all. BF is on his way home to finish putting together his new christmas bbq so it is barbeque for the rest of the day I feel!

Have a great fat burning day everyone!

Sometimes I find it hard to deal with people telling me I don't need to lose anymore until I remember that it is because they care about me. Funny enough, the one person who isn't telling me to stop is my partner. His stance is: I'll love you completely regardless what size you are, you know what you're doing and where you want to get to and I'll support you all the way there.
Glad you have a few days to enjoy your garden before you go back to work! Take care pretty lady!

Hey

Enjoy your garden and the rain while you can. It is raining here too, yippee, it would be nice if they could eventually lift our water restrictions. Not that I care, I have over 10 000 litres in my tanks.

You are looking forward to going back to work?? Odd girl. Actually my work is trying to get me to come back....pushy buggers, I think they just realised how much I do. I figure that it is volunteer work and I will go back when I am good and ready. Must confess, I do miss it a little bit.

You better get ready to order that refeed, you will need it next week (or the week after). I was reading some refeed diaries and you get carrots and broccoli back, hoorah. I will miss you and Mette though but I could always sneak into refeed diaries when no-one is looking (again, tee hee).

Kisses

Hey gorgeous girl,

What a great effort to resist those cocktails on NYE! Well done!

Its so exciting checking out your ticker, and then scooting over to Mette's diary to check hers out - hehehhe I will definitely be following your refeed diaries...a bit early for a heads-up for me, but you can never be too prepared!

Your garden sounds glorious, nothing nice than sitting back and enjoying the fruits of your labours, and a yummy bbq to boot by the sounds of things!

Have a wonderful evening!

Hi Louise,

Hope your first day back at work goes quickly for you! It's always so hard getting back into the swing of things after a break.

Isn't it amazing the difference between seeing a photo of yourself and looking in the mirror? I don't know about you, but seeing a photo was what made me realise that I'm now "thin", looking in the mirror still just shows me the wobbly bits that are left lol.

It's lovely that your BF told you not to lose anymore weight, isn't it great when the ones you love see you as perfect, healthy and thin

Hope you have a great day hun xox

Hi everyone, I dont actually return to work until tomorrow, I thought I would make my first week back a short one to ease in gradually. Im happy to report I am now back to my preoperation weight but now 5 cms less than when I had the op, so something good is happening! 2 of those cms are off my arms, which is interesting as I have only lose 3cms there the whole time Ive been on cohens, however that has happened after just 2 visits to the gym so I figure that is the fact that I am toning up my arms. I am hoping to see more loss of cms now that I am back at the gym, I am not overdoing it, just doing half an hour onthe treadmill and some weights for toning. I might just go 3 days a week, I have been missing the gym!
Im off today to try and buy a new dress for a black tie dinner I have to attend in a couple of weeks, usually I have a variety of black dresses, tops and skirts that I just mix and match, but none of them fit anymore. Ive already had one session in a dress shop with no luck as I wanted something slinky and I am smaller on the hips than the bust so dont fit a standard size dress, so off for another attempt today.

Deedee thank you for your support and once more congratuaitons on reaching the 1/4 mark!!!!!

Honeybuns, I am looking forward to seeing you come back better than ever!

Ellabelle you are so right about the photos, I have a photo of me with a group of friends taken last weekend and I couldnt believe I was the smallest one in the shot! You are right I do appreciate that my bf loves the way I am, mind you he always did, but I do think more so now!

snugglebear I already have my refeed and hoping to begin in a few weeks, I had hoped to have started by now, but not going to stress, life is long!

Mette I ignore it when people tell me not to lose more weight, I never was one to be overconcerned with what others think. At the end of the day I figure its up to me what I put in my mouth and what my body is like. I just htink we are with the right men when they love us regardless, I would be pretty concerned if I was with a man who might dump me if I put on weight! I was married to a man who was pretty critical if I did put on weight and it wasnt a nice place to be, where as when Im with a man who loves me regardless then I want to look great for him.

Well off to find a frock (hopefully), I ll check out some diaries later, have a great day everyone and I hope those scales are doing the right thing!

Hi Louise!

Congrats on achieving your pre-op weight! Bet that has made you feel great!

Interesting that your b/f has said that you have now lost enough. You are pretty close to goal so those last couple of kgs hopefully won't make you look too gaunt. If it does, refeed apparently fixes it! You have also done so well on the program.
So cool that you are now slimmer in cms but the same weight! That gym work obviously does make a difference!

Enjoy your last day of holidays!

Vee

Hi

I hope you managed to find a super-slinky LBD at the shops. Knock 'em dead. Great news on the cm drop, don't you just love it.

It is so great when you managed to meet the man who loves you for whoever and whatever you are, fat, thin, scarred (ooops that's just me), half mental, pregnant etc etc. I got one, you got one and Mette sounds like she has one..........lucky lucky us.

Kisses

So so so with you on the wanting to look good for a man who loves you regardless! It makes all the difference in the world! I was also married to a man who didn't support me the way he should have, but thankfully now I'm where I want to be, with the man of my dreams!
Glad to hear you are back to your pre-op weight! I'm only a little bit ahead now! Not far to the finish line!

Well home again- got the dress
Snugglebear I didnt get a LBD Ive had so many of them to try and make me look slimmer, this time I got the sexy red satin halter dress! The challenge then was to get the right bra, which I managed to do also, so Im pretty happy! Its a pretty sexy little number but usually Im pretty conservative so I thought for once Id go for broke! Im in the running for an award so I want to look good!

I went to the gym this afternoon and one of the gym staff commented that she hadnt seen me for a while, but that I was half the person I used to be (thats a big exaggeration on her part, but you get the picture) Once she found it wasnt from gym work she was surprised, but said I have "heard" you can do it with diet alone! I am enjoying the gym, I missed it, just a bit sore right now as getting back into it! Usually my prime motivation is to lose weight, its funny to be there really just for some light toning!

snugglebear and mette we are lucky to be loved for ourselves - now how to get him to mow the lawn more often!
Mette Im back on track and Im on your tail, look out!

Vee I do think its lovely that bf thinks I dont need to lose more - means Im just doing it all for myself now and really that is the most important thing - I am determined to finish probably what I have begun! Vee I hope I will see a lot more of those cms go as I get to the gym more regulary. Im very happy with my size but just want to tone up a couple of areas to feel 100%

Hi Louise,
Big congrats on the weigt and cm loss and on the sexy red dress purchase! It was encouraging to hear that more cms can come off a person's arms even near the end of the road. I will be following your diary in refeed land when you go over there..great job and knock 'em dead on awards night.

Hi Louise

Greetings from cold Tassie!

Oh, who is going to knock em dead in the red slinky number! Go Woman go!

Sounds like your body is toning up nicely... great work!

Yes, your garden sounds like a paradise and I am so glad your op has been successful. Full speed on to refeed. Will it be the louise or the Danish one who crosses the line first?

Blessings
