Default Week 5 Day 5 - 1 week nearly gone

Okie, seems like koh has just cast a spell with his last post here...hehehe. Was 77.4kg yesterday morning and this evening I'm 77.1kg. Not complaining...at least the weighing machine has finally decided to budge!!! Hopefully this drop continues for a couple more days to catch up on the no loss week.

Breakfast: Yogurt with 3 pieces of mandarin orange
Lunch: Curry chicken/abalone mushroom with stir fried veges & green tea
Dinner: Beef steak/cabbage/shitake mushroom & 1 diet coke

Will see what the machine says tomorrow morning. However, I'm still feeling kinda bloated. The tummy hasn't quite flattened as yet...usually will after about 6-7 days of TOM...well currently it is the 4th day, so will wait and see. As such, I presume there's hardly any visible inch loss then. Have to wait till Monday to do another measurement. I do feel that for some reasons the thighs seem bigger again .

Very busy day in school...but haven't much appetite though. I practically have to force the food down my throat. Well, no choice...DO NOT SKIP MEALS! Simply love Fridays/Saturdays. Hence, will go and take an early sleep ... hopefully sms's phenomenon of wonderful weekend losses can happen to me too!!!!

Hi FlaMie,

Hey, look at your ticker !!! You are DANGEROUSLY close to moving into a friendlier BMI range !!

Around 1Kg will do it.... Here's hoping that projected big drop comes during your "SMS weekend"

If you were already "down" last night, won't the morning weigh-in be lower again anyway? Perhaps it has ALREADY happened

Keep smiling,

Koh

Hi Koh! Thanks for dropping by and continue to bring the magical touch. Yes! The machine has continued to budge and move downards again. I'm unofficially into 76.8kg! That's a nice 300g drop overnight from the 77.1kg...nice nice nice. Just wish this TOM phenomenon will continue for a couple more days...payback time...hiok hiok hiok.

Yeti...guess what? I've finally shot pass 10kg mark! Yeeehhhhhh!!! It's such a great feeling. Waking up to another 300g drop overnight and seeing myself down to 76.8kg AND 10kg completed and gone (hopefully forever). THIS IS A GOOD BEGINNING TO THE WEEKEND.

FlaMie,
Congrats on the 10kg gone. its always good to reach those milestones.
TOM is such a pain but you can feel so good afterwards and hopefully you will notice the difference also. I agree weekends are great. I don't think we'll find too many who don't love them except those that have to work I suppose.
Keep up the good losses.

Michele

Default Week 5 Day 6 - Wonderful start to the weekend

Have you checked out my ticker yet? I've just updated my ticker today! I've finally broke through 1 BIG plateau!!!! 1 week odd of no drop was driving me nuts BUT I've passed my 10kg drop mark today...hooray hooray! Never quite expect this though. Wonderful to see a 300g drop overnight despite my late dinner yesterday and had beef steak for dinner. Guess it is payback time now that I'm at my tail end of TOM...whatever it is, it is NICE!

Haven't felt much desire to eat these couple of days. In fact, I haven't had breakfast yet, so guess I have better go before returning in a while...

Have been feeling rather high the whole day. Can't stop myself looking into the mirror all the time. Everything just seems so right today...right down to the weather. Love the way my chin is shaping up finally...gone are the triple/double chins...according to my hubby.

Well, won't know for sure if the weight will continue to press down tomorrow. However, by evening just now, I was 76.6kg...3 times I stepped on the weighing machine and it still read 76.6kg...hhmmm can it be true? Will leave it till tomorrow to verify. Will be interesting to see what tomorrow brings.

Breakfast: Cheese/cucumber/green tea
Lunch: Stir fried chicken with cauliflower
Dinner: grilled chicken with steamed cauliflower/diet coke

Considering that it is still TOM, I'm certainly hoping that I can see more nice drops every day for a while from now. At least water is flushing out nicely and frequently...hope it's not just the vitamins though. I also trust that the scaling of stairs are helping a fair bit...whatever it is, this week has ended well.

Oh yes! I'm edging dangerously into my 2nd goal which I think I did mention somewhere in my earlier posts that I would post a couple of my pictures when I do eventually hit 75kg. Now I've got to move downwards with trepidation :P

Greta milestone Flamie. 10kg loss must show a fantastic physical improvement, because my 7 kg loss certainly is.

Not far from your second goal now.

Very proud of the way you have kept believing after the recent plateau.

Indeed a great way to start the weekend!

Let's think of ways we can reward ourselves. Normally I would have a nice lunch and a glass of wine. An apple and a diet coke doesn't really seem to do it for me, so what other reward, other than mouth rewards, can we think of as we hit each goal along our journey?

Congrats again!

Marc

A New belt works wonders. Or if you are a guy, new tech toy? Or, for the ladies, a charm bracelet to add another charm to each time you achieve a mini-goal or any accessory that is not size dependent but could be used to commemorate a new goal, an upmarket scarf for instance. As Flamie is a Singaporean, shopping is like breathing to her, so maybe the scent of a real "Coach" handbag would do it! New clothes are nice but when on the downhill run, you might only get to wear them once so I put that one off till finished. (Course I'm a clothes hoarder and still have suits that were in style when John Travolta & the Bee Gees reigned supreme)

Anyway, congratulations on your first milestone. I hope you are pleasantly surprised tomorrow morning when you weigh in.

FlaMie,

Well done on your first 10kg loss. It's a great feeling isn't it. I bet you are already feeling better.

My hat goes off to all you guys living in Singapore. I don't know how you do it. When I am in Singapore it ALL about the food. I adore Singapore and look forward to planning all of the places I want to eat at. Mmmmmm East Coast Seafood for Chilli and Black Pepper Crab...... gee and I wonder why I was so overweight!

Good luck with the scales this weekend and remember to rest up.
Tanya.

NBS: YES, I agree with you that eating in Singapore is simply heavenly! There are so many choices at such affordable prices...it is a wonder that I didn't put on more. Well, in any case, I don't want to eat the way I did as before. Well, if you do come to Singapore, do give me a ringer and I promise that I will bring you to somewhere else better than East coast for crabs! Gosh...yummy crabs...I'll have you in July!!!!

moe: Yea, you bet that it was exhilarating...have this can't believe mentality again. Have to keep stepping onto the weighing machine just to make sure that I'm not seeing things. Hope this carries on for a couple more days.

SMS: Hahahah what a well adjusted foreigner in Singapore. True to every word, shopping is like breathing here. Guess I'll head down to Takashimaya and buy an addition to my Tiffany bracelet as a reward for myself. Darn...the ring I bought like a month back is beginning to slip on and off easily on my middle finger...haiz. It is a happy sad situation.

marc: I dunno, I dun see that much a physical difference as yet. Ok ok, I know I've definitely lost weight and I can see my curvy waist again...hahaha...GOOD! However, still have loads to lose, so won't get too excited for now before I lose all my excitement for later...rofl. Go buy yourself something that can be used for a longer time that won't be affected by your loss of weight. A wallet? A watch? A new pair of shoes? Anything that will get you happy. Guess, I'll be off shopping at Takashimaya next week again...woohoo!!!!

Default Week 5 Day 7 - Wonderful End to the Week!!!

I simply cannot contain my happiness and excitement. I just have to have it on print. I just gotta share my joy with everyone! Oh gawd...I sound like I'm bragging :P Whatever, I'm happy. Hold there, I woke up to have an overnight drop of 700g from yesterday!!!! I was 76.8kg yesterday morning and today, after 4 times on the machine (in utter disbelief) I'm 76.1kg!! Woohoooooooooooo!!!! I think this is my biggest overnight drop ever. After breakfast with 1L of water in my body, I'm 76.4kg...so I guess 76.1kg is here to stay. I'm certainly gearing down to my 2nd goal of 75kg very very soon. It is indeed payback time for the no loss from TOM and every part of me is 80% back to pre TOM state...more or less flattened :P. Oh YES! With the big drop, that'll nicely set me into overweight BMI instead of obese...wow, what a feat for me as I've been obese for the last 5 years...duh!

Had a delicious brekkie this morning. Tried something new. Omelette with button mushroom. The omelette was so well fried that I simply loved the texture and the freshness of the mushrooms...yummy!!! Dunno what to eat for lunch though, it'll be in an hour's time. I'll prolly have beef but with kailan? I dunno. Will see how.

Hi FlaMie,

Just look what an "SMS weekend" does for you :-
Quote:

Actually, it's probably something that SMS will never endure that has helped out here Still, whatever, it is GOOD news for you, girl.

Keep that smile on your face, and look forward to your next (oh SO much closer) goal, and
CONGRATULATIONS !!

Hugs,

hahaha yes sms, I think your charm did work on me too. However, I actually didn't quite sleep early yesterday night. In fact, I got to bed only at 1.30am and woke up at about 8.30am...well, in terms of hours, more than my weekdays for sure. So, I'm going to try to hit the sack early tonight so that there just might be some pretty drops tomorrow morning.

Thanks Koh for the encouragement. I certainly wish that I can hit my 2nd goal real soon. But I think it is not going to happen till another week or so perhaps. Well, none the less, I'm happy for where I am today and will certainly see if I can hit 75+ by tomorrow morning

Hahah yes moe, just as you said, the big bang in loss really did happen to me. Well, certainly hope that it just keeps banging...so that I can hopefully hit my goal weight by June and refeed in July. Mid August there's gonna be a big event for me so I hope I won't screw things up over on this side.
