Hey

So yesterday I weighed myself and it’s exactly the same as it was last Wednesday

I’m not surprised by this nor am I disappointed or agro - I’m like meh whatever u stupid scale. Anyways to make myself feel better I started trying on jackets. Jackets because I carry almost all my weight around the mid section and so jackets NEVER zip up cause I just can’t get the zip together around my stomach - BOOM!!!! Every single one zipped up easily lol. That lifted the mood big time and I felt a lot better. So I took my layers off so only had normal persons clothes on and it’s noticeable arrrggghhh.

Now I know how many layers I have to wear to hide it all lol

Hi Just,
What's the bet the "straight line" will show no ill effects even after this week without weight loss. I reckon you will find (probably by next week) that things have pretty much caught up again, but from now on, you'll need to work really hard to remain incognito !!

Ssshhh !! Don't tell anyone....

It’s the way I am lol

It all stems from last time the comments varied from STOP now!! To how much have u lost now and those people were asking almost daily - so annoying I’d rather not deal with that yet I’m still pretty early on in cohens even though I’ve lost almost 30kgs that’s not even half way for me - so I can’t deal with people and concentrate on myself and life at the same time. The only thing I can factor out of that equation is people - so there u have it lol

It’s been an interesting and very stressful week but cohens is going great everything there is back to normal - looking forward to the weekend it’s spose to be 19 degrees on Saturday!!! Which is outrageous for mid winter but luckily it’s coming in the weekend so we can actually enjoy it

Hi

What a great day it is - cause it’s friday last day of the working week. I’ve started eating tuna and geez it makes lunch extra special I never liked fish but I’m glad I tried it. Super fast and the amount of lettuce I can have is mind blowing lol probably cause it weighs nothing.

Had a great week so far official week 16 weigh in next week so I’m hoping for at least 30kgs. It should be obtainable however my mini goal was <120 by end of July so there’s not that much pressure it’s only mid July next week not even that really so we shall see

Have a great day

Hi

Sunday morning and it’s warm?? Well on my side of NZ anyways. The daffodils are blooming already and it’s mid winter so the weather is really screwed up right now. I’m not complaining though got all the washing done chores done so today I can actually relax!!! I declined an offer to go out last night I still don’t trust myself around alcohol lol I reckon it wouldnt take much to make me have a beer or 9.

Still on course for Wednesday and back to 100% health yisss - should be a good week

Hey

Got the dreaded wedding invite - next April where I will be partying with people I haven’t seen since high school which is 30yrs ago now or 25+ sounds better lol

Had a good day today but man I could destroy some home baked choc chip biscuits yummy a- but that would destroy my carefully balance hormone level so I’ve already put it into park lol for like another 8-9mths lol.

Weigh in Wednesday and bloods feeling good so far but I sleep really bad the night before - probably cause I want to squeeze as much fluid out as possible the morning I weigh in LOL. Not going to cheat and take clothes off too cold

Until my next entry have a great week

Hey

I’m addicted to tuna lol so sad

Weigh in tomorrow I got my blood test form all pre filled out and I have been dreaming of hot chips 😂 well I thought I was dreaming of hot chips turned out my son got hungry at 3am and whipped up some hot chips in the deep fryer - good on him! I’m still DF and can’t wait to weigh in tomorrow I have no idea what to expect - the sick days the no eating the off eating straight after then getting back on track

It’s all good though as long as I’ve gone down I’ll be happy

Really??? - 121.9?

100gms off 30kgs? - well shoot, it’s like tripping before the finish line lol, oh well least it’s ALMOST 30kgs gone. I’m happy with that - another 10wks and I’ll have to extend my program.

I congratulate myself for sticking with it for 4mths that’s the bit I’m stoked about - I guess the alternative is I would of put on at least another 5-10kgs if I wasn’t doing this program so I’m happy it’s gone the other way.

Bloods after work - eye fillet for dinner yum! Have a great day everyone

Hi Just,
I love to read your positive posts. "A bit of a disappointment with the weigh-in? Meh, no worries - just keep on...."

Too cool !!

And then this clinched it:-
Quote:
eye fillet for dinner yum! Have a great day everyone
Eye fillet - for sure !! When you get to eat so little meat, make it THE BEST - why not? You are def worth it !!

And when you are into Maintenance, you can enjoy more of it - but then you will NEED more just to live. This Plan is there to use up the fat stores while you eat "just enough" to remain healthy. The good Doc has it all worked out.

Rock on Just,

Koh

100gms - thats a sneeze!! and if you tripped, then you must be over the finish line now.

And the dreaded wedding invite - I would say woo hoo - as you are going to be rockin it by then.

I hope the eye fillet was great - and as a warning, you don't go back

Hey

Thanks WB I totally forgot about weighing this morning so I must of dropped it by now - and yes Koh I have to remain positive as long as possible cause I know it’s going to get harder the longer it takes and when the weight loss slows down. For now it’s all about looking forward

I got my blood tests results back and they are amazing!!! My tests show the last 6mths next to each other and the improvement is insane - I can’t believe how bad my inner health was, I bet my kidneys love me now ahahaha

And the eye fillet was cooked to perfection and so so good

Have a great week it’s nearly done!!

How cool is THAT? I'd heard from many others about how their inner health improves - I even got the impression that Cohens fixes ALL problems... It is probably not quite that good, but hey - it is right up there. I particularly recall Connie and the complete disappearance of her PCOS !! If you are interested, her results are here:-
http://newyouforum.com/forum/showthr...788#post169788

There have been scores of other stories - people throwing away Blood Pressure tablets, asthma cured, cellulite gone, etc, etc. I love that thread as it is full of so much hope and emotion !!

I noticed you had even popped into it earlier on - you might even want to add your new results to supplement these thoughts (and that topic can do with a "bump" anyway):-

I'm imagining a huge smile on your face today and for a few more - that news is SO GOOD !!

Hey

Good advice I need to take another tour around the forum I have odd bits of info to add everywhere lol .

There are some smells that still make me drool like bacon - O M G

The whole household decided to have bacon and eggs this morning the house smells Devine- I had an egg but without the bacon it was a hollow victory ahaha - losing weight is making me soft I swear a tear was rolling down my face 😂

Anyways it was -7 this morning and now a sizzling 3 degrees. The suns out and I have no excuse for staying in my pjs all day so I guess I’m gonna have to do something productive like clear the garage boo-

On the bright side it’s pizza day!! And as a special bonus to myself I’m going to drink a whole litre of Sprite Zero LOL

Have a great weekend

Just

Good to hear it is sizzling Over here in Brisbane we got down to 6 degrees overnight and it is FREEZING !! I even relented and plugged in the heater yesterday for the first time. About to go for a drive in the sun to thaw out.

Hey

Been really busy lately and I ran out of lettuce and was gutted - vegetables are a horrendous price in nz - $19 for a kg of courgettes (I’ve totally planted my own), $5 for a lettuce (I’ve also planting my own now) and squash is the worst thing I’ve ever seen, never eaten it, I preferred to believe that pumpkin was squash - although that probably slowed my weight loss last time.

I also realised I was mixing proteins as well (last time) by having an egg in my chicken salad lol it was so delish but after reading my program properly - u aren’t allowed to mix, I even had cheese grated on mince in my lettuce cups - again mixing proteins lol I thought 1.3 and 1.4kgs a week was normal - I guess notlol

Anyways I’m wiser now and actually read and take in the information and I know I’m doing this round wiser so I’ll get there - long long road ahead but I’m happy with the progress so far

Hi Just,
Further to this comment from you:-
Quote:

.... I was thinking that you would surely have noticed some changes with 30Kg less to move around, and this will only get better and better as more time passes.
I often say on here "Go and pick up the amount you've lost and walk around a bit" so that they remember just how bad it was previously. But then, I think most of us would even struggle to lift 30Kgs let alone be able to "wear it somehow" while we walk a short distance with it as a reminder. That huge loss is a huge gain to you that must be displaying itself in one way or another.

Rock on, Just,
Koh

Hey

Correct I have noticed changes - but I’m an expert at hiding it from the world - some people have noticed most haven’t - I haven’t changed the clothes I wear I’ve just tweaked the way I wear them to exaggerate the curves (or rolls) I no longer have lol.

It’s much easier to walk up stairs, down stairs, get out of bed, keep up with my 23yr old child, go out, buckle the seat belt, sit in an armed chair, sit in a one person lounge chair, do up my pants and zip up my tops but who would notice that lol

Hi

Beautiful day here in chc - 17 degrees suns shining - just finished my pizza for lunch and life is good. All the washing done, house tidy, garage is passable -

In fact there’s even people At the beach or so my sons Facebook says lol. I really can’t believe I’m in week 18, it’s gone super fast in fact this whole year has - another 2 more weeks and we are in August the countdown to Xmas begins.

I have another 8wks on my official program then I’ll have to extend for 3mths which finishes 22/12 lol. I should be a lot closer to my goal by then and probably completely over the program lol but we shall see that’s a wee while off yet. I’m hoping to be at the very least <110 in the next 8 weeks but we shall see!!

Hey

I thought 120kgs would be a massive push and bring frustration and heart ache and anger lol - I stepped in the scale this morning and I’m past 120 😂 all I could do was laugh.

I haven’t updated my ticker I’ll do that Wednesday morning when I weigh in for the week - but with dr Cohen on my side 120 was my bee-arch - BOOM!!!

Added fuel to the fire, not that I needed it

Have a great week
